Wieteke Maris

Wieteke was our travel adviser for our Christmas vacation week at the Fairmont Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. She planned and organized our entire trip for our large family group with ages ranging 10-82, traveling from three different parts of the United states. We loved her attention to every detail so we didn't have to think about anything, whether her coordination of meal reservations, our location of rooms and proximity to beaches and restaurants or giving us suggestions and travel advice each step of the way. Wieteke planned for the days to be balanced between memorable activities including adventure and exploration and downtime to do nothing and enjoy the company of family and the scenery of our beach hotel. She had great picks for our day trips when we stepped outside the luxurious hotel to get a taste of Mexico and its vistas, history, local food and people. Our family of all ages all got to do something they wanted thanks to her thoughtful planning and we came away with great memories.

I have never had an easier more seamless and stress free vacation! Wieteke's accommodation suggestions were exactly what we were looking for with a mix of a luxurious boutique jungle lodge, a larger beach resort and a delightfully small casual island hotel. She organized all our transfers between our hotels (including van rides, tiny 12 seater planes and even a motorboat to the airport) and it all happened without a hitch. Wieteke checked in with us at various points of our trip to see if we needed anything, she followed up when there were some plane cancellations due to weather and was easy to reach if we had any questions or needed suggestions. She is knowledgeable, professional friendly, loves what she does and is incredibly organized. With her guidance we had the trip of a lifetime without the usual stress of planning.
