This was my first time experiencing Virgin Voyages. I have been on several different cruise lines at this point, but was intrigued by being this adults-only, a focus on a clientele that was anything from honeymooners to golden anniversary celebrators, and how their bar tab, multiple restaurants concept, and inclusive group fitness classes were. The itinerary that we went on was incredible and my grandma and I had the best time! We really loved all the ports of call, and Virgin Voyages helped us create core memories that we will never forget. It was so special as we had never had an experience or trip like this before.

This unique Caribbean island is not usually the one that first comes to mind for most visitors from the United States. That, however, in my personal opinion, is a mistake as this island offers gorgeous beaches, a variety of activities, lush landscapes, and a welcoming atmosphere from both local Bajans and fellow visitors alike. Whether it be relaxing all day on the beach at the famous Carlisle Bay, doing a rum tasting at Mount Gay, or exploring Harrison’s cave, there are multiple options to choose from. You never know what you might find when you make the trip here, and each day is what you choose to make it!

The mix of old and new, colorful and faded, a blend of cultures and history sprinkled with the modern—this is San Juan. To understand a little bit more about this special destination, one must appreciate what this place has gone through, their history, and what they have to offer. The warmth, the vibrancy, the food, the beaches, the scenery… one could go on and on. San Juan is the perfect destination for a few days either before or after your Caribbean cruise as there is so much to see and do and it’s not a place you’d just want to be passing through. And once you get a taste, you’ll want to go back and explore and experience more of what it has to offer!

For the first time ever, the Winter Olympics are being co-hosted by two cities: Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Food, fashion, and the aperitivo culture of Milan showcase what the city is famous for, while the “Queen of the Dolomities” backdrop of Cortina displays its stunning backdrops of winter scenery, high-end shopping, and fine-dining experiences. Boston is the city where the modern and the historical collide. It's known for its famous universities, medical advancements, and technology, yet it has some of the oldest monuments, buildings, and sites as it was one of the first colonies when this country first began. The fight for freedom from the British started here, and the city has preserved it and been proud of that fact. However, it has not stayed stuck in history; while it gives an ode to the past, it also looks forward to the future. Enjoy wandering around the different vibrant, ethnic neighborhoods, explore the gorgeous parks (not just Boston Common) and take in the atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

Welcome to a hub of Southern charm, history, and sports in the USA! Atlanta has deep roots in the Civil Rights Movement, world-class museums and attractions, and both amateur (1996 Olympics anyone?) and professional sports (home to the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta United teams). It is first up in my deeper dive on World Cup match destinations as it is one of the 11 destinations in the United States playing host to the most beloved sport in the world.

Manta Island Resort has captured my heart. The turquoise blue water colors and tropical breezes instantly melt away any worries or stress and one feels themselves slipping effortlessly into vacation mode. The staff are warm and welcoming, working tirelessly to make your time as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. By the end of your stay, you will feel like part of the Manta Island family and that you were staying at a luxurious and private home away from home.

Although usually painted as cold and dreary during the winter months, there is an enchantment that seems to fall over London with its drizzled streets and lit-up monuments. There are fewer crowds, shorter lines and even walk-in opportunities that might not be available other times of the year. The best way to experience London is to explore by walking through its many paths, parks, streets and boardwalks — especially when the weather gives a reprieve and the day is clear, cold and bright. There is so much to see, do and experience that you need more than a weekend, but when you only have a weekend, make the most of it!
