Travel Style
I love to travel. Being able to go to a new place, having that change of scenery, experiencing new cultures, and meeting new people is like a breath of fresh air and a renewal of my spirit. Having been to more than 40 countries and counting, I am a planner by nature and love researching new places, making reservations, and coordinating different adventures! I enjoy the challenge of budgeting my trips while also splurging on indulgences wherever I go. Whether it be relaxing on a beach in the South Pacific, indulging on a cruise ship in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean, or wandering the streets of Europe soaking in the architecture and culture... wanting others to experience the world in their own way and having the best time doing so is a dream of mine that I would love to make come true for you!

Sarah is the best. Even without a ton of runway for this trip, she worked her magic and delivered exactly what I was looking for. She is incredibly easy to work with, and things always turn out great. I truly appreciate her partnership and look forward to continuing to work with her as she leads my travel planning moving forward.

Sarah did a fabulous job organizing my trip, both on airplanes and the entire cruise. She made sure everything was covered perfectly and I enjoyed the trip and all of the excursions. I would recommend Sarah Ketchum to anyone who would like to travel and would like everything taken care of like I experienced. She did a super five star job!

Cruising the Caribbean With Virgin Voyages
This was my first time experiencing Virgin Voyages. I have been on several different cruise lines at this point, but was intrigued by being this adults-only, a focus on a clientele that was anything from honeymooners to golden anniversary celebrators, and how their bar tab, multiple restaurants concept, and inclusive group fitness classes were. The itinerary that we went on was incredible and my grandma and I had the best time! We really loved all the ports of call, and Virgin Voyages helped us create core memories that we will never forget. It was so special as we had never had an experience or trip like this before.

Your Caribbean Escape to Barbados
This unique Caribbean island is not usually the one that first comes to mind for most visitors from the United States. That, however, in my personal opinion, is a mistake as this island offers gorgeous beaches, a variety of activities, lush landscapes, and a welcoming atmosphere from both local Bajans and fellow visitors alike. Whether it be relaxing all day on the beach at the famous Carlisle Bay, doing a rum tasting at Mount Gay, or exploring Harrison’s cave, there are multiple options to choose from. You never know what you might find when you make the trip here, and each day is what you choose to make it!

Exploring Old San Juan Before or After Your Caribbean Cruise
The mix of old and new, colorful and faded, a blend of cultures and history sprinkled with the modern—this is San Juan. To understand a little bit more about this special destination, one must appreciate what this place has gone through, their history, and what they have to offer. The warmth, the vibrancy, the food, the beaches, the scenery… one could go on and on. San Juan is the perfect destination for a few days either before or after your Caribbean cruise as there is so much to see and do and it’s not a place you’d just want to be passing through. And once you get a taste, you’ll want to go back and explore and experience more of what it has to offer!

Your Winter Olympic Guide to Milan & Cortino d’Ampezzo
For the first time ever, the Winter Olympics are being co-hosted by two cities: Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Food, fashion, and the aperitivo culture of Milan showcase what the city is famous for, while the “Queen of the Dolomities” backdrop of Cortina displays its stunning backdrops of winter scenery, high-end shopping, and fine-dining experiences. From the sophisticated urban backdrop of Milan to the snowy town of Cortina in the Ampezzo Dolomites National Park, there is something for everyone to enjoy while experiencing the excitement of the 16 different sporting events during the Olympics.

Finding Some Freedom in Boston
Boston is the city where the modern and the historical collide. It's known for its famous universities, medical advancements, and technology, yet it has some of the oldest monuments, buildings, and sites as it was one of the first colonies when this country first began. The fight for freedom from the British started here, and the city has preserved it and been proud of that fact. However, it has not stayed stuck in history; while it gives an ode to the past, it also looks forward to the future. Enjoy wandering around the different vibrant, ethnic neighborhoods, explore the gorgeous parks (not just Boston Common) and take in the atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

Visiting Atlanta for Sporting Events
Welcome to a hub of Southern charm, history, and sports in the USA! Atlanta has deep roots in the Civil Rights Movement, world-class museums and attractions, and both amateur (1996 Olympics anyone?) and professional sports (home to the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta United teams). It is first up in my deeper dive on World Cup match destinations as it is one of the 11 destinations in the United States playing host to the most beloved sport in the world.

Winter Weekend Away in London
Although usually painted as cold and dreary during the winter months, there is an enchantment that seems to fall over London with its drizzled streets and lit-up monuments. There are fewer crowds, shorter lines and even walk-in opportunities that might not be available other times of the year. The best way to experience London is to explore by walking through its many paths, parks, streets and boardwalks — especially when the weather gives a reprieve and the day is clear, cold and bright. There is so much to see, do and experience that you need more than a weekend, but when you only have a weekend, make the most of it!
