My Story
Sara plans elevated escapes to Europe, Mexico and as far as Australia and New Zealand. Honeymoons are her first love, but if a destination wedding is in the works (for Italy or Spain), she's happy to handle your location research and all the travel logistics.
My Travel Style
I love wandering around in a new place — this is when the fun discoveries happen. As far as hotels, my style leans towards small, well-designed (and reasonably priced) boutique properties. I've got a depth of insight into many destinations after visiting 30+ countries and living in Canada, Czechia, Sweden, Italy and now, southern Spain.

Sara continues to amaze us! This was our second trip with her, on a completely different continent and with a different sized group than our first trip. She, once again, found the perfect place to stay, helped us organize all travel, and assisted us in building an unforgettable itinerary. I have never felt as relaxed and confident as when Sara is working on our trips!

Sara helped make our Europe trip so seamless, memorable, and truly special.
From our very first consultation, it was clear how committed she was to understanding what we were looking for in this trip. Her attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and proactive planning over the months leading up to our departure made a world of difference. We felt confident and excited every step of the way, knowing we were in such capable hands.
One thing that stood out to us was how engaged she remained even while we were abroad. Her check-ins during the trip meant a lot and really showed how much she cared about her clients’ experiences—not just the planning, but the entire journey. And when we threw some last-minute booking requests her way, Sara's quick responses and ability to make things happen on short notice was nothing short of impressive.
A big thank you to Sara for helping us craft such an amazing adventure. We couldn’t have done it without her, and we’re so grateful for her time, effort, and care throughout the entire process.

Sara was great to work with for our honeymoon! We came to her with one idea and ended up changing our minds completely and she was patient and super helpful in providing her perspective and advice based on what we wanted. She helped steer us with what islands in Hawaii to visit and where to stay and her recommendations were spot on. Our honeymoon was such a dream and we felt so grateful for her guidance through the process. She was great with checking in and providing updates as well. We loved the perks we were able to get booking with her too, like room upgrades, a gift upon arrival and free breakfasts!

4 Perfect Days in Puglia (& Matera)
I’d been wanting to explore this part of Italy for some time — and I think my excitement blinded me to the fact that it might be a little too hot to be kicking this trip off in Matera. In any case, we made it, and it was magical… Once the sun set and in the very early morning, mind you, but magical nonetheless. Here’s the breakdown of our four nights in the Puglia region.

Site Visit: The Best of Andorra Hotels
Is it part of France? Is it Spanish? The answer is that while landlocked Andorra is an independent country, with a long and rich history involving its two neighbors, it truly has a culture all its own.
It’s long been a worthy contender for couples and families seeking to ski and spend quality time together, but the warmer months offer endless outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and even golf. For the purpose of this report, I’ll start with the hotels in Andorra la Vella (the town center) where the focus is shopping, and work my way out to properties that offer privileged access to the area’s ski slopes.

Property Spotlight: Villa Lena, Florence Hotel
What's not to love about Villa Lena?
I had clients booked at this serene hotel near Florence earlier this summer, so I jumped at the opportunity to check it out myself while in Italy. My husband and I loved everything about this property that sits high on a hill in, what I’m quite certain, is one of the most picturesque parts of Tuscany.
5-stars all around.
If you’re looking for an atypical stay in Italy, I can confidently say that Villa Lena is in a class of its own.

A Weekend in Stockholm
Having lived in Uppsala, Sweden for a year and a half, I made countless trips to the country’s capital Stockholm. It is an ideal destination for a weekend away filled with plenty of activities that extend beyond the old town Gamla Stan. Stockholm has both history and a contemporary reality in the making, it features vibrant nightlife, minimalist fashion, and curious cuisine.

A Guide to Food and Culture in Turin
Torino, Italy really is a magical place! Unfortunately, it is often overlooked by North American travelers. I lived in Torino for two years so this is a collection of my top spots for the traveler who wants to immerse themselves in Italy's first capital city. Hopefully I can inspire more people to put this incredible Italian city on their European itineraries!

Four Dreamy Destination Wedding Locations in Tuscany
When it comes to dreamy destination weddings, it’s no surprise that Italy tops the list. And as far as where in Italy to have your wedding, well, Tuscany is at the top of that list.
I can tell you that it’s truly everything and more because I was lucky to have my own September 2018 wedding high on a hilltop, overlooking those rolling hills that gracefully meet the Mediterranean sea. As a small event and wedding planner myself, there are more than a few spectacular locations where you can invite guests into a magical experience. Here’s your guide to the most beautiful locations for a wedding in Tuscany.

Guide to Arts & Culture in Valencia
As a destination, Valencia really does have it all. Arts & culture, beautiful food and wine, clean beaches, big name and boutique shopping... This city in southern Spain is an endless labyrinth of amazement. Bragging rights include its City of Arts & Sciences, and Valencia is also the current (2022) World Design Capital. And of course there's all the sunshine! 320 days a year of it, in fact. Travelers are guaranteed to soak up the city's warmth any time of the year. I've recently relocated from Vancouver, Canada and could not be happier with the decision. From our apartment in El Botanic, to morning runs in the Turia, to evening tapas with a glass of one of the regions excellent rosés, falling in love was fast and easy. That being said, I'm confident you will find Valencia to be open, innovative and exciting when you visit!
