Our Story
I’m Ryan, the travel advisor behind Ryan Garcia Travel. I specialize in designing thoughtful, personalized trips throughout Europe, with a particular focus on Italy and experiences that go beyond the typical tourist itinerary. After years of personal travel and firsthand hotel and destination scouting, I’ve built my business around helping travelers experience destinations more deeply—whether that means discovering quieter coastal towns, finding exceptional boutique hotels, or balancing iconic highlights with more local experiences. My goal is to create trips that feel seamless, memorable, and genuinely tailored to each client.
Travel Style
My approach to travel is centered around intentional, experience-driven itineraries that combine comfort, authenticity, and practicality. I work with travelers across a range of budgets, helping clients prioritize what matters most to them—whether that’s a luxury hotel stay, incredible local food, wellness experiences, or unique cultural moments. I especially love planning trips for travelers who want a slower pace, meaningful recommendations, and the confidence of having someone who has personally explored many of the places they’re visiting.

Ryan was absolutely amazing from start to finish! He helped coordinate our Italy trip over Easter with short notice and quickly accommodated all of our changes as our group grew. From hotels and ferries to phenomenal food tours and restaurant recommendations, he took all the guesswork out of planning so we could simply show up and have the time of our lives!

Ryan was fast to respond and able to get everything I asked for. He handled dealing with Disney so I didn’t have to, which made the whole process so much less stressful. We felt completely confident going into our trip, and our favorite moment was the princess breakfast!

Ryan was just incredible. He took time to learn what we like in a trip. Coffee, foodie and cultural experiences. He also sent amazing local pastries and bubbly to our room for our 36 yr anniversary. He’s Amazing

What It’s Really Like Visiting Naples: Tips From Someone Who Lived There
Naples is one of the most rewarding destinations in Italy for travelers who care about food, culture, and experiencing real local life. I lived in Naples myself, and it completely changed the way I think about travel—not because it’s polished or perfect, but because it feels authentic in a way few places do. From historic streets and espresso bars to views of Mount Vesuvius and easy access to places like Ischia and Pompeii, Naples offers a deeper, more layered side of Italy. It’s a city that rewards travelers who are open to slowing down, exploring intentionally, and embracing the energy of everyday life.

Inside Strand Hotel Delfini Terme: Thermal Pools, Castle Views & Island Wellness in Ischia
Ischia is one of my favorite destinations in Italy because it offers the beauty and coastline of the Amalfi Coast and Capri, but with a slower pace and a stronger connection to wellness and local culture. During my stay at Strand Hotel Delfini Terme, I was reminded why the island feels so special: dramatic sea views, natural thermal waters, and a relaxed atmosphere that encourages travelers to truly slow down. Perched above the water with direct views of the Aragonese Castle, the hotel combines classic Ischian charm with an authentic spa experience that feels restorative from the moment you arrive.
