Visitors can explore the iconic Over-the-Rhine district, which features beautifully preserved 19th-century architecture, trendy boutiques and a thriving food scene. Cincinnati’s deep German heritage is evident in its love of beer and bratwurst. This is best experienced at local breweries or during the annual Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, one of the largest celebrations of its kind outside of Germany. Sports fans flock to Great American Ball Park to cheer on the Cincinnati Reds, the oldest professional baseball team, or to Paycor Stadium for Bengals football games. For a family-friendly outing, I suggest the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. It is one of the oldest and most respected zoos in the country, offering unforgettable animal encounters. Cincinnati is also a city of arts and culture, boasting attractions that rival larger metropolitan areas. The Cincinnati Art Museum houses an impressive collection spanning 6,000 years. While the Contemporary Arts Center showcases cutting-edge works in a stunning Zaha Hadid-designed building. Music lovers can enjoy performances by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra or Broadway-caliber shows at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. West Virginia is one of the most beautiful states on the East Coast. Canaan Valley Resort is the best place to stay in the wilderness. It is a four-season resort for spring and summer hiking, stunning fall colors and several ski slopes with tubing parks. It is a great place to ride bicycles or motorcycles. A golf course is available and you will most likely see deer. Blackwater Falls State Park and Seneca Rocks are close by. It is a short drive from the Washington DC metro area. Peaceful and beautiful .

In November of 2024, my wife and I sailed on MSC Seashore. It was our first MSC cruise and it was a great experience. We elected for the Aurea experience which gave us priority boarding and upgraded balcony. We also has a private area to enjoy with couches, lounges and hot tubs. We enjoyed our time with MSC for the short four days that we were with them.
