Our FORA advisor Robin was excellent. She handled every detail exactly as we asked and then some. She secured the perfect room and even got us a discount! She took care of our brunch reservations and there was a lovely welcome gift waiting upon our arrival. I plan on using FORA and Robin for all our future travel needs!!!!

Robin did an outstanding job booking the Umi Hotel for my wife and me. The hotel turned out to be a hidden gem in my opinion - excellent meals and amenities in a gorgeous setting. We would not have known about this hotel without Robin's guidance and suggestions which were communicated in a clear and timely manner. We really felt as if we had a personal concierge for this booking, even though it was only for one night! Robin's attention to detail and recommendations are second to none. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Exploring the Azores: A Week in São Miguel, Pico and Faial
This remote and little-known archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean offers a taste of Portugal amidst a stunning array of natural beauty. There are nine islands to explore, but I recommend focusing on only three for your first visit: São Miguel, Pico and Faial. Plan your trip to these diverse, yet individually unique islands during the summer months in order to catch their seemingly endless rows of hydrangeas in full bloom. I can personally attest that driving past these flower-filled hedges as you journey to the spectacular calderas, evergreen tea plantations and stone-walled vineyards of the Azores is a truly awesome and unforgettable experience.

The Best of Maui
Maui is truly a gem. It offers a near-perfect balance of natural beauty and world-class luxury that the other islands have yet to strike. Maui is also fairly manageable in terms of size and therefore easy to explore. You can ascend Haleakala for a magnificent sunrise and escape to peaceful Hana town all within a day. Although Maui has changed a bit over the years, particularly since the devastating wildfires of 2024, it is still a treasure and well-worth your time. If you choose to visit, please travel in the spirit of aloha and try to support the local community in their journey towards full recovery. Mahalo!

Exploring France: Champagne, Chablis and the Côte de Beaune
I first visited these celebrated wine-making regions on a trip with my former boss, an American vintner with a garagiste-style winery in Meursault. I was struck by the beauty of each region, from the grand Avenue de Champagne in the lovely Epernay to the charming villages and vine-covered hills of Burgundy. These picturesque locations offer the perfect opportunity to unwind and indulge in some fantastic food and truly world-class wine.

The Best of Charlottesville: A Local’s Guide to C’Ville
I have a long history with Charlottesville and have been coming here for over thirty years. I also attended The University of Virginia and inevitably moved back to the area in 2018 to work in the wine industry. C’ville simply pulls you back. It is a vibrant college town, steeped in history and surrounded by the exquisite natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is also teeming with graceful architecture, great restaurants and an overwhelming array of breweries, distilleries and wineries. Come visit for a weekend and you’ll want to stay for a lifetime.

The Best of Cleveland: The Land That I Love
I am a Cleveland girl, born and raised, and there’s so much to love about my hometown. This lakeside land is teeming with amazing architecture, culture and food, not to mention an unparalleled Metroparks system that shines from its Emerald Necklace to the Metroparks Zoo. So, whether you prefer wandering about the vibrant food-lovers neighborhood of Ohio City or enjoying our world-class orchestra at Severance Hall, I encourage you to experience all that the CLE has to offer.

The Best of the Big Island
The Big Island offers a stunning array of beautiful scenery with a laid-back vibe. It is my favorite of the Hawaiian Islands and is perfect for adventure and luxury travelers alike. Spend a day exploring the endless fields of black lava or watching the sunset from the spectacular summit of Mauna Kea. Alternatively, relax at one of the luxury resorts or world-class beaches along the Kona coast. Whatever you decide, the Big Island does not disappoint.
