Robin found us the perfect hotel in Zurich, the B2 Hotel, as part of our three-week vacation this fall! The hotel's location made for easy connections to the Zurich trains (which also gave access to the airport) and the wonderful harbor shops, restaurants, gardens, and museums. While Zurich is expensive in general, we felt Robin found us great value for the quality of the hotel. As this was also the last of our stops booked with Robin (we hit four countries in just over 2 weeks), I would also like to recommend her to anyone needing that extra help planning a long vacation. Even as a seasoned traveler, Robin provided us with hints, tricks, and recommendations that made our travels easier and with less worry. From her initial questions about what we like and don't like when we travel to suggestions of day trips or other experiences from her previous travels, Robin was a wealth of information and set us up to have the wonderful vacation we had. :-)

Stutttgart is not a typical vacation travel destination, so it was wonderful to have Robin's help in finding us both a well-located hotel as well as options to both visit the Porsche museum as well as navigating Cannstatter Volksfest. We were thrilled with the EmiLu Hotel (modern, clean and quiet) as well as her advance "recon" of private tours at the museum and links to reserve seats in the beer tents. As a side note, because Stuttgart was a bit of a detour from the rest of our vacation/travels, Robin was also able to point out that hiring a private car to drive us from Prague to Stuttgart would take less time (and the same cost) than trying to fly or take the train between those cities!

Prague was a complete unknown for us before working with Robin on places to stay only a month prior to traveling there! Our initial conversation with her (and all the great questions she asked!) let her know that we prefer smaller, boutique hotels, and she provided us two options in Prague: one modern and one a UNESCO Site in Old Town Prague. We chose Iron Gate Hotel & Suites in Old Town, and Robin handled all the booking confirmations, including checking room rates as our dates of travel neared, as well as private transportation from the airport to the hotel and a day trip to Krumlov Czesky. We didn't realize how helpful it was to have Robin help us until we realized the Iron Gate Hotel & Suites wasn't direcly accessible by vehicle (restricted zone). She coordinated with our drivers and let us know where to meet them in relationship to the hotel. We cannot say enough what a relief it was to have Robin take care of all the details for us! Such a wonderful experience :-)

Solo Sailing on Silversea's Silver Ray
In January 2025, I treated myself to an ultra-luxury cruise aboard Silversea’s newest ship, the Silver Ray. Fresh off a bucket-list trip to Machu Picchu with my nephew and his wife, I still had more adventure in me. I’d long dreamed of transiting the Panama Canal, and when I saw the Silver Ray was sailing northbound from Lima to Fort Lauderdale, I barely hesitated. I say “barely” because I’d be sailing solo—something I’d never done before on a 16-day ocean voyage. I needn’t have been hesitant. The experience was so fantastic, I’ve already booked another solo sailing with Silversea this September.
