This itinerary was originally designed for my sister-in-law and her friends, who dreamed of sunshine, sea views, and that Italian magic in late April. I had the pleasure of visiting the Chicago Athletic Association hotel. This hotel is located directly across from Millennium Park/Grant Park (where the Lollapalooza is hosted). Originally, this hotel was an athletic club for Chicago men. One of the founders was William Wrigley, so you will see the classic C design throughout the space. Let's be honest, you could spend a month in Italy and still be left with so much to explore. In this 14-day itinerary, you are going to mostly traverse the northern region with two exceptions: Rome and Sardinia.
