My Story
I’m McKenzie—a luxury travel advisor, born from a deep love of the world and a belief that travel should feel like more than just a trip. My journey into travel advising grew out of years of personal exploration (Italy five times over, Puglia stays, Amalfi, Fiji, St. Barths) and a natural instinct for helping people experience places the way I do: intentionally, beautifully, and without anything left to chance. Based in the Dallas area with my husband, two kids, and horses, I built McKenzie on Holiday to give my clients something most travel feels like it’s missing—genuine magic. Every itinerary I design is the one I’d want for myself.
Travel Style
I travel slowly and deliberately—fewer places, deeper experiences, better memories. My sweet spots are Europe (especially Italy and the Mediterranean), Hawai’i, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific, with a particular love for properties that feel like they were made for you rather than built for the masses. I’m drawn to sensory details: the right aperitivo at the right hour, a room with a view worth waking up early for, a restaurant only locals know. My clients trust me to handle everything so they can be fully present, and that’s exactly what I love most about this work.

McKenzie was absolutely incredible! She planned and thought of everything down to uber drivers, car transfers and little things you wouldn’t think about. She has incredible recommendations and really listened to us and what we like and care about and what’s important to us and really nailed down a perfect trip of a lifetime that we can’t wait to repeat next year. So thankful for her and all her help!

McKenzie was absolutely a joy to work with. From transfers to hotels, to silly questions. She took care of every single detail plus more. She made the entire trip enjoyable, relaxing (all details taken care) and memorable. She was patient with all 12 of us in the group, when we probably repeated questions. She knew the answers and responded quickly. I would give McKenzie 10 stars if I could!

McKenzie is awesome! Everything was very well planned and communications were excellent. I highly recommend Mckenzie. There were issues with NCL regarding transfers before the trip that Mckenzie spent several hours on the phone with NCL and multiple calls to clear up.
