Easiest trip I have ever planned. Leslie listened to us and then gave us great options to choose from. Normally I stress out about all the possible choices and get overwhelmed. She made that all go away and it was fun to plan and every place we visited lived up to full, if not exceeded, expectations.

I just returned from a 15-day Iceland circumnavigation by car, and I couldn't have done it without Leslie Ford's help. She handled everything—choosing destinations, booking 12 hotels, managing drive times, and highlighting must-see spots for photos and puffin sightings. It was great to work with Leslie on this trip. She is smart, knowledgeable, detail-oriented and she has excellent judgement! Her expertise made an exciting and interesting trip an unforgettable adventure! I could tell that Leslie really enjoys her work. I definitely plan to ask Leslie to advise and plan for my future trips!

Why San Luis Obispo Is the Perfect Place To Visit—Especially if Your Kid Goes to Cal Poly
Tucked between vineyard-draped hills and the rugged Pacific coastline, San Luis Obispo (affectionately called SLO) is one of California’s most charming and underrated destinations. With its small-town warmth, world-class wine, a dynamic food scene, and endless ways to enjoy the outdoors, SLO offers more than postcard views—it offers a lifestyle. And if your child goes to Cal Poly? Lucky you. That means you get to return often—move-in weekends, family visits, graduations, or just because. Each trip becomes a mini-vacation.

Exploring Iceland’s Natural Wonders: A 4-Day Stopover
Iceland is one of my absolute favorite destinations, offering the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether you're unwinding in soothing geothermal waters, hiking past majestic waterfalls or exploring otherworldly landscapes, Iceland is an unforgettable escape. It's also an ideal stopover en route to Europe, providing a gentle introduction to the time difference, as it's located halfway between the West Coast of the US and Europe.

Celebrating Life at Día de Muertos in Guanajuato, Mexico
If you’re looking for a destination full of vibrant color, delicious food and rich history, Guanajuato, Mexico, is the place — especially during the Día de Muertos festivities. I got my love for travel from my dad. At 82, he decided it was time to celebrate life in the best way he knows how — by traveling and sharing the experience by taking me and my sisters along to Guanajuato’s vibrant Día de Muertos festivities.
Often called “the most beautiful city in Mexico,” Guanajuato is a place that captures your heart from the moment you arrive. The city’s charming houses cascade down the hillside, painted in every shade imaginable. Guanajuato stands apart from the rest of Mexico with its striking old world architecture, featuring grand, ornate buildings, intricate facades and elegant plazas that give the town a distinctly sophisticated and historical atmosphere. Cafes, bars, street food stalls, markets and art galleries line the streets, making it feel like there’s a festival every day.

Serene Shores of the Côte d'Azur: Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Beaulieu-sur-Mer
Côte d'Azur, or the French Riviera, is famous for its glitzy cities, beaches with crystal-clear waters and vibrant culture. While I love the glam and excitement of Cannes, Nice and Monaco, it's nice to mix your trip with an escape to quieter towns on the waterfront. If you're looking for charm and beauty, towns like Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Beaulieu-sur-Mer are pure magic.
