I had the opportunity to travel internationally to unique locations around the world as a violinist when I was a child, and later lived in Europe during my career in the music industry. That early exposure sparked a lifelong love of travel and a deep appreciation for new cultures and experiences. I have always loved curating trips for friends and family and have been the go-to planner for many years! Fora has provided the perfect opportunity to combine my love for travel with my strategy and event planning experience (ask me which President and First Lady I planned an event for!). She took the challenging process of booking a cruise off our plates, ensured we were seated in a premium location overlooking the water for dinner, arranged for birthday celebrations throughout the vacation and went above and beyond throughout the process. We absolutely loved staying at the Marina del Rey Hotel! Laurie was able to quickly find us a perfect alternative in the Manhattan Beach area after the initial hotel we booked had an emergency water main issue. Even with the short notice, Laurie provided us with an upgraded room and welcome gift! She helped us choose a fantastic brunch restaurant, dinner reservations, and provided a list of cute shopping areas and inside scoop on areas to see and where to hike in the Los Angeles area. The hotel had an amazing restaurant and bar area to enjoy in the evening and we had breakfast overlooking the water. Laurie's go-getter style is the reason she is my go to advisor! I work with Laurie for both last minute trips as well as major trips with complex itineraries and a lot of transfers. I recommend her for anyone looking for a detail-oriented advisor who will care about your trip as much as you do!

Laurie went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. She contacted the hotel multiple times to adjust our dates and worked with them to get us VIP treatment. Our room was upgraded to an ocean view corner room with 3 balconies! Laurie made it even more special by sending us champagne, fruit and cookies! We had an amazing experience booking with Laurie!

Laurie was so helpful and attentive and really worked hard to provide a fun trip. I had the most amazing girls trip to the Excellence Collection Punta Cana planned by Fora Advisor, Laurie Lock. Laurie's attention to detail, knowledge of the resort and ability to provide us with an above and beyond experience made our experience so great that I have to write about it! Due to political unrest in our originally planned location 3 days prior to the start of our vacation, Laurie was able to quickly help us select and book a new location. We received an upgrade to a two story ocean view suite with plunge pool and special touches throughout the stay (champagne, fruit upon arrival), private VIP check in and personalized attention from the staff at the hotel.

I have hosted retreats and arranged this destination for friend and family groups that continue to return. The beaches are stunning, there is fabulous shopping, farm-to-table restaurants, adventure, and more restaurants with amazing food than you can possibly get to in one trip.
