My Story
A SoCal-based travel lover on a mission to find the best local pastry at any given travel destination.
Travel Style
From locally guided city tours to chatting up the owner of the road-side farm stand, my goal is to discover the heart and soul of a place and its people. My typical travel day includes a morning activity like a hike or museum tour, afternoon people watching at a local park, and happy hour with a great view!

Laura was helpful from beginning to end. Even while at the resort and a huge winter storm in America coming she helped us with change of flights and shuttles to the airport. I would use her again.

Laura made our travel experience with three other couples so easy. She took care of everything; flights, resort accommodations and transportation to and from airport. Whenever we had questions/concerns, all we had to do was email or text her and she would get right back to us. We had a couple bumps with one couple's room, and she was always available with good advice and even contacted the resort on their behalf. Because of the snow and ice storm, our flights were canceled. Thankfully, we were able to stay at the resort two more nights. Laura took care of getting us new flights home and changing our transportation back to the airport. I almost forgot to mention the really fun excursions Laura booked for us too. We did an ATV excursion and also a Snorkel/Catamaran excursion. Both were incredibly fun. My advice: Contact Laura for a fun-filled, relaxing vacation. She does a great job.

The was our second trip we booked with Laura and each one has been a hit. We are traveling with four kids ages 1-11 so that makes it harder to find places to stay that accommodate us. She has been so fast and responsive in doing her research and getting our places booked. My kids are constantly impressed with how awesome our hotels are. Would definitely recommend her to friends and family!!

This is the third time we have used Laura Vander Neut to curate our travels. We have found that her bespoke service is unique and just the concierge-level of knowledge and assistance we have always wanted but never before realized. Laura handles most of the time-consuming, detailed legwork that is required to successfully plan a trip and, in the end, provides an essential trip plan that is app -driven. Most importantly, she is readily available to strategize in advance and then problem-solve with us when the inevitable bumps in the road occur. Honestly, we will never plan a trip again without Laura's expert involvement.

Culture & Exploration in Delft: Family Friendly Recommendations
Just an hour away from Amsterdam by train, the picturesque canal city of Delft makes a great stop on any Netherlands itinerary. Despite its historical fame as the home of “Delft Blue” ceramics, Delft is far from being stuck in the past. As a lively university town, it offers a vibrant atmosphere with a perfect blend of cultural experiences, leisure activities and diverse dining options. Families visiting Delft will find themselves immersed in a charming cityscape that is both walkable and rich in attractions.

4 Days in Alentejo, Portugal
Located in southern Portugal just east of Lisbon, the Alentejo region is an ideal destination for food and wine lovers wishing to get off the beaten path. While it doesn’t get as much attention as Porto and the Douro Valley, Alentejo’s wines (and cheese and olives) will leave you searching for them at your local market back home. Even if wine isn’t your thing, Alentejo is perfect for getting out of the busy-ness of the coast and enjoying some fresh air: practically every village is located on a hilltop with amazing views and its own castle. Alentejo is also a great option for travelers with limited time as it’s a quick 1.5-hour drive from Lisbon.
