Karen Reif was wonderful to work with. She provided many options based on our budget and never pressured us into booking "extras". She was attentive and helped us strategically plan our trip so that we weren't running all over Paris each day. Her recommendations were wonderful and we enjoyed the excursions/tours she booked for us. Karen's knowledge and patience with clients makes her such a pleasure to work with. Thank you Fora and Karen for a fabulous week in France.

Karen's knowledge of the Bordeaux area is extensive. She found us a beautiful hotel conveniently located to the city center. Karen suggested doing two full day wine tours to experience both wines in the Medoc and St. Emilion area. Each day were small group tours led by highly knowledgeable guides that selected a combination of large wineries and smaller boutique ones. We loved both days! Karen also had great restaurant recommendations. One last thing, Karen made herself available while we were away answering emails in real time! She is amazing and I can't wait to work with her again.

Karen was absolutely spot on in every way. She listened carefully to our family's likes and dislikes and crafted a truly memorable trip that exceeded our expectations. She was mindful of our budget throughout the entire planning process, ensuring we got the most out of every moment without any compromise on quality. I could not have planned such a special family trip without her expertise and dedication, and I would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a travel consultant who truly delivers.

Porto & the Douro: Sips, Sights, and Sunsets
Porto and its charming neighbor Vila Nova de Gaia form a quaint cityscape filled with stunning architecture. Centuries-old buildings are adorned with the city’s iconic, colorful tiles, and with over 800 churches, history is around every corner. Harry Potter fans should keep an eye out for students in robes, adding a touch of magic to the streets. After exploring Gaia and sampling its famous Port wines, use Porto as your gateway to the breathtaking Douro Valley, where terraced vineyards stretch across mountains and valleys, producing not only the next vintage of Port but also some of Portugal’s underappreciated red wines.

Sips & Scenes of Bordeaux
To Merlot or not to Merlot, that is the question. You decide which Bordeaux reds fancy your pallet. Are they the bold Cabs of the Left Bank or the smooth Merlots of the Right Bank? Or, maybe you like sweet whites in the style of Sauternes. Bordeaux is the Mecca for wine tasting—it’s where it all began. There’s a vibrant city to use as your jumping off point to taste world-class wines, visit the highest sand dunes in Europe, or bike around the Graves.
