My Story
Austin-based mom and educator! When I'm not traveling or researching travel, I like to spend my extra time looking at rescue dogs and playing Zelda.
My Travel Style
My favorite aspect of travel has always been the stories you come home with. My husband and I (and now our son) book vacations that we know will be memorable—not just to see the same landmarks that everyone always wants to see, but to experience life as a local, to feel immersed in the culture and to eat and drink all the things! We were both public school educators for over a decade, and now I fulfill that passion by educating clients on new locations and experiences. Getting to know you and your travel partners is my specialty, so I can tailor every activity, meal, and hotel to your preferences.

Holly went above and beyond answering questions about various hotels we were considering before choosing the Flemings Mayfair. She contacted several options directly and once we narrowed down to Flemings Mayfair so worked with their sales team and got us a room upgrade.

Holly did a wonderful job in planning our accommodations for our trip to Ireland and Scotland! She provided great recommendations in our price range and was able to get us a few extras at each stay (it was our anniversary). She was incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgable and kind. Highly recommend!

Trip for a friends wedding turned something more would not have been possible without Holly! Even on a trip where so much was already booked and busy, her recommendations and guidance on navigating the airports, rentals, restaurants and things to do were top tier. Plus, she found the hot air balloon trip of my dreams! This is my second time working with Holly on a trip and it will not be the last. Highly recommend!

Holly was fabulous to work with! She accommodated all our preferences and was quick to respond. She had great ideas of things to do, and communicated with the property when needed. We will absolutely work with Holly moving forward and would recommend her to anyone!

West Texas Travel Guide: Lone Star State Adventures
I may be biased, but West Texas is the ultimate American road trip—a place where the scenery is the main event. Forget everything you think you know about Texas and prepare to be awestruck by the sheer magnitude of the landscape and the genuinely “big and bright” stars. This trip is perfect for families looking to unplug or anyone obsessed with checking national parks off their bucket list. With charming, historic towns like Fort Davis, Alpine, Marfa, and Terlingua, you have an ideal home base for exploring this unforgettable part of the Lone Star State.

St. Lucia Trip Guide: Island Life with Mountain Views
St. Lucia isn’t just another stunning Caribbean island; it’s a place that holds a truly special spot in my heart—after all, it’s where my partner and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! What made that trip so memorable wasn’t just the jaw-dropping scenery, but the genuine, friendly spirit of the locals who shared their island with us. The moment you arrive, you feel the incredible local vibes, making it feel less like a tropical vacation and more like a warm, welcome home.

Traversing Winter in the Land of Fire and Ice
Iceland has been on my bucket list for a long time. Not only for the waterfalls, geothermal features, volcanoes and glaciers--but for the Northern Lights! Even though you can witness that celestial phenomenon in many other places, Iceland was always the location that seemed to make the experience other-worldly. It will not disappoint. With countless natural wonders to explore, a rich cultural and fantastical history and adorable wildlife, Iceland should not be missed!
It's important to note Iceland's weather and roads can be very treacherous! The Icelandic government wants you to stay safe while visiting. They have many resources to check out before arriving and several websites that have up-to-date information on the status of roads and weather. You should check it out before you ever leave the hotel! But, with careful planning and preparation, you will have an incredible journey.
By traveling between September to April, you have better chances of seeing Northern Lights because during the summer, Iceland turns into the land of the midnight sun. Great for exploring every kilometer of the island, but not ideal for star-gazing.

Burlington is not necessarily an easy place to get to. But it is so worth the connecting flight to walk into the cutest little airport you've ever seen, and take a quick car ride over to the lake. You're immediately transfixed by the sunny skies, giant cedar and pine trees, sparkling blue water and friendly smiles. With adorable shops, eateries and boutique hotels, you're sure to find plenty to love in the state of freedom and unity.
