My Story
At Rooted Nomad, I help travelers move freely while staying deeply connected. A nomad explores without limits; to be rooted is to stay grounded in culture, nature, and shared human experience. My style lives at that intersection—crafting boutique, elevated, authentic journeys that unite, inspire, and leave you feeling connected to yourself and the world around you. As a private chef for eight years, I continue to create bespoke, one-of-a-kind experiences for clients who value thoughtful, personalized experiences. I bring that same care to travel advising, curating journeys that reflect each traveler’s personality, dreams, and aspirations—from boutique stays and artisan experiences to curated group trips and transformative escapes. Food is at the heart of how I explore the world. From Michelin-star dinners and hidden local gems to immersive food tours, vineyard tastings, small-batch distilleries, and the best hand-crafted culinary and beverage finds, I design experiences that delight all the senses. I also partner with wellness, health, and spirituality-led guides to craft niche, intentional escapes—from yoga retreats and meditation workshops to transformative, culture-rich journeys that nourish body, mind, and soul. You simply dream it—I orchestrate every detail, saving you hours of planning and coordination, so your journey is effortless, immersive, and unforgettable. Travel Style
My travel style is rooted in unity and curiosity—bringing people together while exploring the unfamiliar, embracing new cultures, and discovering experiences that awaken connection, consciousness, and self-reflection. I’m drawn to journeys that balance spirit and adventure: horseback pack trips and cattle drives, mountain treks, white-water excursions, yoga, and rituals rooted in nature. Shared moments—around a table, on a trail, or at sunset—dissolve barriers, spark conversation, and create a sense of belonging, ultimately bringing you home to yourself. My approach is at that intersection—crafting boutique, carefully curated journeys that are luxurious yet authentic, immersive yet effortless, allowing you to be fully present while experiencing the world in its most soulful, genuine form. I'm dreaming of exploring Italy, Thailand, Oaxaca, and India.

A Week Exploring São Miguel
São Miguel in the Azores is special to me not only for its breathtaking coastal views, lush gardens, and vibrant flowers, but also for the incredible seafood, local wines, and unforgettable culinary experiences. The impeccable service and genuine hospitality made us feel instantly welcome and safe, with romantic cobblestone streets over looking the coast. The island’s peaceful atmosphere, scenic hikes, and stunning waterfalls made the experience both meaningful and unforgettable. Although we didn’t island hop, many locals shared how easy it is to visit nearby islands like Terceira, Faial, and Pico, inspiring us to return one day and explore even more of the Azores.
