My family just returned from our annual Christmas vacation tradition. When we started thinking about this year’s trip in August, we knew we wanted something different. Our youngest daughter recently turned twenty-one years old, and we didn’t want an all-inclusive island resort escape this time…….Emmanuelle knew exactly where we should go! We contacted Emmanuelle and expressed our thoughts. Emmanuelle quickly suggested the Florida Keys, and we provided Emmanuelle with our budget. A few days later, Emmanuelle crafted the perfect Florida Keys getaway.

We started the trip by driving down the scenic Route 1 from Miami Airport, crossing the breathtaking Seven Mile Bridge. We stayed two nights in Islamorada at the ocean front La Siesta Resort & Villas. It was the exact different vibe that we were looking for. It was so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The sunrise from the beach front dock were amazing. We highly recommend La Siesta Resort, and we will return in the future! We then drove to Key West and stayed at the Eden House for five nights. The Eden House is the oldest operating boutique Hotel in Key West with beautiful gardens, pool and Tiki Bar. We had so much fun every day just relaxing poolside and meeting so many other guests. I would be totally remiss if I didn’t mention the outstanding staff at Eden House. Everyone was so friendly and you could tell they loved living in Key West and made sure your stay was a comfortable one.

The restaurants and nightlife in Key West are legendary. You cannot travel to Key West and not stop at Sloppy Joe’s Bar, Better Than Sex for desserts, The Smallest Bar, Hogs Breath Saloon and Aqua Bar & Nightclub (drag show). Aside from all of the “must see” places, there are so many others we were able to discover by just walking around near Eden House. Our favorite dinners were at Bagatelle Restaurant and Louie’s Backyard. Huge shout out to Kermit’s Key Lime Pie Shop. Being gluten free for over fifteen years, I finally had a piece of the famous Key Lime pie. We also took a catamaran sunset cruise with Sebago. This was the perfect boat to watch the sunset as they included cocktails, appetizers and live music on board. We also enjoyed the hop on and off trolley tour of Key West and a visit to the Hemmingway House to learn some more Key West history. Our trip to the Keys was a memorable one for sure! We cannot recommend Emmanuelle enough for any trip you may be planning. She listens to your wants, discusses her personal experiences and keeps it all within your budget.

I can honestly say that Emmanuelle "hit it out of the park" with the booking our flights, picking an amazing resort and recommending the shuttle service to and from the Jamaican airport. Everything went flawlessly and we all know when it comes to travel that isn't always the case. We cannot recommend Emmanuelle enough when looking to book your memorable vacation experience. Our next big trip will be to Italy, and we will definitely be calling Emmanuelle again!
