My Story
Children's Librarian by day, Travel Curator by night; always passionate about curating knowledge for those who need to know.
My Travel Style
A female solo traveler whose response to being told she's brave is "you can be too". My passion is creating trips that prove travel is for everyone. My ideal trip involves walking around a new city all day with stops for delicious pastries along the way. My day job as a librarian means I'm perfect at knowledge curation and distillation. Let me do the hard work so you can reap the rewards.

Emily was the perfect partner in planning our trip! She quickly identified several hotel options for us and made sure we had the opportunity to review all options, while making a top pick recommendation that turned out to be the perfect place for us. I especially appreciated that she followed up the week before our trip to reconfirm our reservation with the hotel and to ensure we had all needed information. Emily is clearly an experienced travel pro who I wholeheartedly recommend!

South Island Soujourn to New Zealand
New Zealand is a place I felt instantly at home, while simultaneously feeling like an explorer eager to turn every corner. I went to New Zealand (spending about ⅔ of my time on the South Island specifically) feeling burnt out and lifeless. The magic of this country brought me back to myself. Every hike taken, every panorama viewed, and every Kiwi I chatted up took my breath away while restoring my soul. I’m sharing my itinerary with you in the hopes you can make your own magic.

A Local’s Love Letter to Charleston, South Carolina
I have been lucky enough to live in Charleston for the past seven years after a previously itinerant life. Nowhere felt like home until Charleston. The beaches, beautiful architecture and incredible food mean I never tire of playing tourist in my own city. Here are some of my favorite spots!

Pleasures of Porto
Long playing second fiddle to Lisbon, Porto is often skipped entirely by tourists. But Porto is worth a visit. Rolling hills provide stunning views of the Douro River and the city abounds in history. Wonderful food and port and friendly locals make Porto a lovely (and navigable) city to explore.

Living Well in São Miguel
I had heard whispers that the Azores were “the next Iceland” in terms of hot travel destinations and knew I wanted to see it at its mostly unspoiled. I spent an enchanting five days exploring the island of São Miguel and fell in love with the verdant nature, stunning coastline and welcoming people.
