My Travel Style
My travel style is all about balance. I enjoy discovering new cultures, wandering through a city, and relaxing on a sunny beach with crystal-clear waters. Great food and wine is a must! While I love starting a trip in a new city and ending with a relaxing beach destination (like Rome and the Amalfi Coast/Lisbon and the Algarve), there’s always a time and place for a well-deserved island beach vacation!

We worked with Elissa Mellinger at Fora to help plan our first wedding anniversary trip to Italy, and we were very impressed. From start to finish, she was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and really took the time to understand what we wanted from our trip.
Elissa helped us find the perfect balance between sightseeing and relaxation, recommending and booking a variety of tours and experiences that allowed us to see so much without feeling rushed.
One of the biggest stress and time-savers was her arrangement of all of our car transfers between hotels, train stations, and airports—everything was seamless which made the entire trip that much more enjoyable.
We would absolutely work with Elissa again for future travel and highly recommend her to anyone planning a trip to Italy!

Elissa went above and beyond helping to find the best hotel for us in Hvar. When we had an issue with our room, Elissa worked tirelessly with the hotel to facilitate our move to another room. We can’t thank Elissa enough for all of her hard work to make our trip to Croatia so memorable.
