A former British diplomat with wanderlust, creating bucket-list memories, one location at a time. Preference for boutique hotels that combine luxury and safety alongside authenticity and charm. Clare was incredibly helpful in securing a few rooms for our group at short notice. She presented us with various options within the specified parameters, making it easy for us to choose the hotel we’d like to stay in. Her proactive approach and prompt responses to our questions were truly amazing. Without Clare, we wouldn’t have been able to have the experience we did!

The communication with Clare was great, she took into account all the group members, both young and old, and created many wonderful opportunities to experience Athens together.

Edinburgh, London, Rome, Paros and Paris - Travel inspired by Netflix’s One Day
Is it the will they, won’t they love story, the nostalgic soundtrack or the amazing destinations captivating audiences of One Day, this season’s must-watch Netflix series? Based on David Nicholls’ popular 2009 novel, the story follows Dexter and Emma over a twenty-year period on the same day, July 15th, St Swithin’s Day. They meet in Edinburgh, London, Rome, Paris and Paros. From bustling cities to quiet countryside, the story navigates some of the most amazing places in Europe.

Site Inspection at Be Tulum Beach and Spa, Tulum, Mexico
In April 2024, I visited Be Tulum Beach and Spa and its sister property Nomade Tulum on the beautiful Riviera Maya's Caribbean coast. All the staff I engaged with were welcoming and exuded pride in their role. Be Tulum is an adult-only hotel, located in the quiet zone of the 6.5 mile Tulum Beach Road. Nomade Tulum is family friendly and next door. Though sidewalks are irregular, both properties are within walking distance of many restaurants on the strip. On-site parking is available for those driving. My experience at both resorts was positive and I would recommend either property to my clients.

Tulum, Riviera Maya, Mexico: Something for Everyone
Tulum International Airport is now open for international flights, with direct flights from Newark taking just over four hours. I visited the once-sleepy resort town of Tulum approximately 25 years ago. The new flight option seemed like a great opportunity to revisit this popular Riviera Maya destination. Known for beautiful beaches on the Caribbean coast, incredible ruins, mangroves, cenotes, beach clubs and great food, Tulum has something for all kinds of visitors. Couples, families, honeymooners, large groups or those just looking for a quick getaway and the feel of sand between their toes. Visitors can enjoy destination restaurants with other vacationers, sip a cold beer and tuna tostadas with locals. You can dance into the night, indulge at an all-inclusive resort, celebrate a milestone event, explore ancient ruins or find sanctuary and focus on wellbeing at a retreat. If looking for a more authentic Mexican experience, downtown is where to stay. If you aspire to the international Bohemian "Gypset", something in the Hotel Zone will be more to your taste.

Book a Bridgerton Inspired Trip to England
Dearest gentle reader, one finds oneself in quite the predicament during the Bridgerton hiatus. What is a devoted member of the Ton to do? This author humbly suggests using this time to book a summer journey to the United Kingdom, inspired by our beloved Bridgerton.
The illustrious Bridgerton series has ignited a cultural phenomenon. The first two seasons beckoned many to the UK, hoping to encounter their own Simon or Anthony, immerse themselves in the refined world of the Regency era, or simply learn more about the enchanting period from 1811 to 1820. Season three provides splendid inspiration to book a visit to some of this
author's cherished locations. Do forgive the occasional inclusion of
locales that slightly deviate from the Regency timeline.
