My Story
I plan trips while I’m on trips. Preferably something unique, boutique, independent, and creative. I like to balance exploration with relaxation, followed by a good glass of whatever the finest local grapes or grains offer. Moments over checklists. And golf!
Travel Style
My favorite travel experiences are the ones you can’t script.
The gem of a restaurant you found accidentally when you got lost in Venice looking for the one in your guidebook. The impromptu post-wedding afterparty at the local beach bar run by neighboring fishermen in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Enjoying an AC/DC cover band at an Irish pub in Rome, Italy, where we had to duck in because of a sudden rainstorm. Wandering through Paris, and accidentally ending up in a street protest you thought was a parade...but ended up next to an amazing patesserie. Bumping into a work colleague in the Botanic Gardens in Buenos Aires. Bumping into golf buddies at the top of St. John’s Fortress in Kotor, Montenegro (1,300 steps!) and grabbing lunch with incredible Serbian & Croatian wines afterward. Getting a spontaneous full-day tour of Queensland, Australia, with a local couple staying at the same resort (and their charming kids!), wrapping up with an authentic Aussie barbie & cricket on the beach.
I love crafting amazing itineraries as much as the next inveterate traveler, and I also aim to leave room for those serendipitous experiences that make a trip truly magical. I’ll happily point you to some of my favorite spots and ones on my list that I’ve yet to check out, and your job is to be open to the other possibilities that a destination can lead you to!

Working with Cara was every bit as impressive as the hotel itself. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and guided us to the perfect property for our trip. Her recommendations, responsiveness, and attention to detail made the planning process effortless. It's clear she genuinely cares about her clients' experiences and takes great pride in making sure every trip is a success. We had quite a few travel glitches from an airlines perspective, and Cara immediately helped us locate additional accommodations in NYC (not easy to do during World Cup) as well as inform our Montreal hotel what was happening so we did not have to bother with any of that. Thanks to Cara's expertise, we had an unforgettable weekend, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again or recommend her to others.

We had a great time. Cara did a wonderful job identifying and scheduling things for our work group. Those are not the easiest things to do and Cara made it a trip with zero issues. Everything was clearly communicated and we always felt like she would immediately help out for anything that arose.

Cara was amazing. All I did was tell her the dates and the hotel and she took care of the rest. She was also available to answer a question I had while I was checking in, which helped me get settled quickly. I'll definitely be working with her again in the future.
