My Story
A passionate traveler, I have explored North America extensively, visiting all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and two Caribbean territories. My love for travel goes beyond the journey — I’m always researching new destinations across the globe, planning the next adventure before the current one even ends.
My Travel Style
Whether I'm indulging in a luxurious getaway or finding peace in a rustic retreat, I wholeheartedly embrace the diverse experiences travel offers. With 20 years of consistent travel for both business and leisure, I've honed a talent for planning (and savoring!) logistically complex trips. I love curating unique journeys inspired by a single spark — whether it's unwinding by a tranquil river, exploring a city's vibrant energy over a swanky dinner or escaping to St. Croix for an extended weekend.

Angie was awesome! She made all the arrangements and was very responsive to questions I had and requests to add on a carriage tour after the fact. When we checked into our room she had a thank you card and small box of yummy fudge waiting for us. So sweet, both Angie and the fudge!

Angie was prompt and pinpointed this hotel for me according to my needs. It was a breeze. I call or email Angie whenever I need a hotel or a flight and she handles it with skill.

Soul of the Crescent City: A Local’s Guide to New Orleans’ Best Eats, Sights & Sounds
New Orleans holds a special place in my heart. I moved there somewhat blindly in 2004 at the age of 25. I experienced Hurricane Katrina, built lifelong friendships, danced through countless festivals and Mardi Gras celebrations, and ate and drank my way through the city. After nearly two decades, I made the move to North Carolina in 2023. This city is steeped in history and culture, and my travel guide reflects that. It’s focused on the local side of New Orleans—featuring the restaurants, bars, and experiences that locals actually frequent. If you want to explore New Orleans like a true insider, this is for you.

Basecamp Destination Durango: Railways, Red Rocks & Rocky Mountain Flavor
Durango, Colorado, is a charming mountain town known for its vibrant downtown. It is filled with unique shops, local art galleries and a diverse selection of restaurants that reflect the region's character. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it's a gateway to the Four Corners region, where Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah meet.
