My Story
A teacher turned travel advisor — planning to give you the A+ experience on your dream vacation.
My Travel Style
My husband and I are self-proclaimed "foodies" and we love to sample local cuisines. I research destinations to make recommendations for my guests. I want to ensure every traveler has their dream experience. We also own an RV, so we love to adventure by land together and have a "bucket list" of destinations once we retire.

Amy from A+ Travel and Tours is a class act. She attended to every detail providing us with superb service from beginning to end, arranging all of the details of our cruise, including specialty excursions. She always made herself available for frequent questions and is extremely knowledgeable regarding world travel. Amy was delightful to work with.

She is very knowledgeable, gave us great advice. She arranged ground transportation for us that went smoothly. My only regret was not listening to her advice on hotels. We did okay but it would have been a better experience if we had. It’s very comforting to know that you have someone who is very professional watching out for you.

Great experience. We had a hiccup with my passport and Amy was right on it and rearranged our flight home to a different airport. Was there for us when we needed her.

Exploring the Med on a Viking Ocean Cruise
This was our first ocean cruise with Viking and it truly did not disappoint. The Mediterranean has long been a cradle of civilizations, but aboard a Viking vessel the experience becomes both intimate and expansive. Each port—whether a sun-washed Greek island, an Italian harbor framed in terracotta, or a Spanish promenade echoing with centuries of footsteps—reveals layers of human story. The curated works capture these moments not as postcards, but as emotional geographies: the luminous harmony of coastal mornings, the sculptural textures of ancient stones, the living warmth of marketplaces, and the contemplative calm found only on open water.

Paducah, Kentucky: A Treasure in the Bluegrass State

Eating Our Way Around Tampa, Florida
If there’s one thing we would consider a favorite pastime when we travel, it would be finding great local restaurants for dining. Since we often travel to Tampa, Florida, to visit family, we have accumulated quite a list of favorites and some new “must-tries” during each visit. Here are a few of our faves both for fine dining and casual fare.

Viking: A "Grand" European Cruise
In July 2024, we took our "dream" vacation as a celebration of our 25th anniversary. We had booked a Viking river cruise for 2023, but were offered an amazing deal to rebook for a different sailing — and we just couldn't turn down the offer. This "Grand European River Cruise" was exactly that — a grand experience we will never forget. From the ship's staff, beautiful accommodations and excellent food to the scenic river valleys and port excursions, this trip was everything we dreamed of. For anyone who is on the fence about taking a river cruise, don't wait! This is the absolute best value and one I would definitely recommend.
