My Story
I’m a passionate traveler who has explored 60+ countries across six continents, always in search of beautiful hotels, meaningful cultural experiences, and great food and wine. I bring that same thoughtful approach to planning—with a focus on boutique and high-end stays, authentic local moments, and seamless, elevated experiences.
I specialize in Japan, Italy, Bali, and Southeast Asia, and have deep experience throughout Europe, South America, and Africa. Whether you’re planning a culturally-rich journey through Japan, a romantic Italian escape, or a bucket-list African safari, I design trips that feel personal, enriching, and wonderfully polished.
Beyond full bespoke planning, I also offer complimentary bookings for hotels, safaris, and cruises, giving you access to exclusive perks, possible upgrades, and VIP amenities. Let’s design an unforgettable journey together—thoughtfully planned, beautifully executed, and inspired by the way you love to travel.
Travel Style
I seek wonder, inspiration, and authenticity in every journey. In a world of booming tourism and crowded hotspots, authenticity can be elusive—but it’s still out there. Sometimes it means skipping the must-see checklist for lesser-known gems, or waking before sunrise to experience a Kyoto temple in peaceful solitude. You’ll never find me waiting in line for a staged, Instagrammable moment—because the best memories are often unplanned.
I love exploring on foot—wandering storybook streets in Europe or tucked-away neighborhoods in South America and Southeast Asia, stopping at museums, shops, or hidden corners along the way. I gravitate toward where locals eat, from tiny holes-in-the-wall to Michelin-starred gems, often ending the night at a cozy jazz bar.
I’m equally drawn to beautiful spas, unhurried afternoons with a book, and dinners that stretch long into the night. I seek out hotels with character—thoughtful design, rich history, or a sense of place—whether luxury or boutique. And if an itinerary leans rustic or wildlife-centered, I’ll find the most comfortable eco-resort I can—ideally with an exceptional chef.
My travels take many forms, but my purpose is constant: to design thoughtful, personalized itineraries that reflect each traveler’s unique dreams.

Amy is truly fantastic to work with. She’s incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and consistently makes spot-on recommendations. Planning a trip with both little ones and grandparents can be tricky, but she handled every detail seamlessly and made sure it was the perfect fit for our whole family. We trusted her so much that we’ve already booked a second trip with her—couldn’t recommend her more!

Amy took the guess work out of planning our vacation. Her knowledge of hotels, sites to see and neighborhoods to stay at made our trip so much more enjoyable. Amy's advice and expertise made our family vacation one that we will never forget!

Amy was very helpful with this trip. It was booked kind of last minute & she was still able to give me different options and prices very quickly. She responded very promptly to all my emails and helped me book all my dinner reservations & excursions when the concierge at Casa De Campo was not responding to my emails. I will definitely use Amy in the future.

The Queen of the Dolomites: Cortina d'Ampezzo Guide
Cortina is one of those rare places that feels both dramatic and refined at the same time. The Dolomites are some of the most beautiful mountains in the world, but what makes Cortina special is the lifestyle layered on top, long lunches, chic aperitivo, and a quietly glamorous cool factor. I come here for the contrast, active days in nature followed by polished, very Italian, la dolce vita kind of evenings. It’s equally compelling in winter and summer, just with a completely different rhythm.

Bali Curated: Quiet Luxury & Hidden Gems
After more than 22 visits, Bali feels like a second home. I still return every year, though it has become harder to find the quiet, authentic Bali I first discovered in 1997—when I would wake in a simple bungalow surrounded by lush gardens and terraced rice fields, lulled by the soft swish, swish, swish of a broom clearing the night’s fallen petals, birdsong welcoming the morning, and the occasional gecko calling back. That Bali still exists—peaceful, unhurried, and deeply soulful—and I encourage all friends and clients traveling here to experience it, even if only for part of their stay.

Venice Beyond the Crowds: Hidden Treasures & Grand Hotels
Venice is a place that holds my heart, and where I consider my home for one month every spring, when I spend four weeks immersed in language school and the rhythms of local life. My first visit, back in 2004, was a very different story—I found it touristy, didn’t care for the food, and was eager to move on to Capri. But on a later trip, something shifted. I discovered a quieter, more authentic side of the city. I learned to enjoy getting lost in the labyrinth of calli and campi, to linger in hidden squares, and to savor the magic of wandering late at night when the streets are empty, the air is still, and the only sound is the soft lap of water in the canals and our footsteps on centuries-old stones.

The Fife Arms: Highlands Splendor, Curated Luxury & a Touch of Whimsy
For me, The Fife Arms hit so many sweet spots: luxurious interiors; active and creative pursuits, including bespoke Highland experiences; several restaurants and bars to choose from, all with unique personalities; a highly proficient yet unpretentious staff; and a location situated in the heart of a quaint village surrounded by the gorgeous Scottish countryside.
