Highlands and Cashiers, North Carolina, feel like a second home to me. I’ve been coming here since 2004, and my family built our mountain house in 2009, which made it even more special. I love that you get the best of both worlds here—amazing restaurants and shops, mixed with some of the most beautiful hiking in the Southeast. It’s one of those places that feels both relaxing and a little adventurous at the same time.
