My Story
I’ve traveled all over the world. Favorite international spots are the UK and Australia—cup of tea, anyone? My favorite US city is New Orleans, so much rich history, culture, the best food—and it’s a little spooky . . .
I also love working with groups! Give me your team meetings, your incentive trips, your conference travel—I’ll take care of your people! My background in the conference industry means I know how to handle big groups, from all-inclusive resorts for some fun in the sun, to corporate get-togethers at hotels catering to the business traveler.
Let me get to work for you!
Travel Style
I think the best way to see a city is on your own two feet. I’ve gotten lost in some wonderful places—Madrid, Berlin, Rome, Singapore, Beijing, and Sydney, to name a few. I adore train travel. I’ve driven back roads in Ireland and England, and slid down sand dunes in a 4x4 in the desert outside Dubai. There’s nothing like chatting up a local while waiting for a pint in a pub in Edinburgh, or having a kind person direct you to the pharmacy in a Hong Kong mall because you are clearly lost.
Travel is adventure, and connection, and wonder. We all need more of that in our lives!

We used Amanda to help us plan a quick weekend away to Nashville, we'd never been and knew nothing. She found us the perfect boutique hotel. Price was great and it was just a couple blocks off the main strip so once valet helped us unload and parked out vehicle we had no need for it until it was time to go home. The extra perks we got simply by booking with Amanda gave us all the VIP vibes! Voucher for a dinner and credit toward our breakfast each day plus complimentary apps! We will definitely use Amanda for future trips!

From the West End to Waterloo: An Afternoon's Walk Across London
In London, you can cover hundreds of years of history in a single afternoon’s walk. It’s one of the few cities where you can have a pint in the 1.600’s, a coffee in the 1,800’s, and dinner in the 21st century! I think the best way to see a city is on your own two feet, and this walk packs a lot into approximately 2.6 miles (not including wandering around). This was a favorite walk of mine and my late husband Eric, who grew up just south of London.
