My Story
San Diego-based lover of all things travel, food, puppies and wellness. Passionate about all things hotels, curating unique itineraries and helping those around me plan their dream vacations.
My Travel Style
My wanderlust story began when I studied abroad in Spain in 2015, which led to weekend adventures exploring most of Europe. It was there that my love for travel ignited. I've come a long way from staying in hostels and budget hotels; now, I love discovering unique boutique hotels and resorts in fun + trendy neighborhoods that allow me to explore cities by foot.
My true passion lies in helping others plan their dream trips, and I'm known for putting in the hard research to uncover those hidden gems that make every trip extraordinary. Let's chat about your travel goals and I'll pair you with some of my favorite destinations/hotels to make your journey unforgettable!

Alex was fabulous. We would have never considered traveling to Ischia and boy am I grateful that she recommended it. Her communications were so timely and each email made me more and more excited about the trip. I am someone who would previously spend hours on Google researching for a trip, but she handled everything and gave me SO much time back. I have raved about this experience to friends and could not recommend her enough.

We've planned two previous trips to Europe. At the time, I was pretty proud of myself for all my planning and logistics management, but honestly, it was stressful, time-consuming, some of our hotel choices could have been better, and I had notes and spreadsheets everywhere that I had to carry with me. I would 100% book with Alex again. Every recommendation was perfect. I loved the convenience of the itinerary app and getting her insights on the best areas to stay in each city (one of the hardest parts of planning a trip in an unfamiliar region). She was enthusiastic, responsive, and helpful. I'm so glad she recommended the DayTrip transports. I would have booked a rental car and made my husband drive through the wild streets of Sicily (and we probably would have been stressed and argued!) if it hadn't been for Alex's recommendation. We have recommended Alex and Fora Travel to so many people over the past year and would 100% love to work with her again. Thank you!

When we started planning our dream honeymoon to Japan, we felt overwhelmed & unsure where to start. Bringing Alex on board was seriously the best decision we could have ever made! After meeting with us she got right on making a detailed & fun itinerary for us & held our hands every step of the way through bookings, train tickets, & hotel recommendations. We genuinely wouldn’t have been able to do this trip without her & would highly recommend her for all your vacation planning needs. She gets it & was extremely responsive throughout the whole time leading up & during.

Alex was THE BEST. She was prompt, understanding, gave us so many options and really listened to what we wanted out of our trip. Not only did she help with our trip she went out of her way with advice for wedding hotel block booking and checked in during our trip. She was also able to help us with last minute reservations. We plan on utilizing Alex for our future trips

8 Best Wellness-Focused Babymoon Resorts in the US (Perfect for West Coast Travelers)
Not everyone wants to travel internationally or sit through a long flight to celebrate their growing family — especially during pregnancy. Personally, I think a babymoon should feel like a true escape without the added stress of customs lines or major time zone changes. For my West Coast clients, that usually means finding destinations that are beautiful, peaceful and easy to get to — all within 75 minutes of a major airport.
If you’re looking for a wellness-forward babymoon in the US, these are the resorts I recommend over and over again. Each one offers prenatal spa treatments, nourishing food, beautiful surroundings and thoughtful activities to help you unwind, reconnect and soak up some much-needed rest before baby arrives.

Top 14 Must-Try Osaka Foods
It’s no secret that Japan has some of the best cuisine in the world. As the food capital of Japan, Osaka shines when it comes to their food scene. From the obvious (ramen) to the strange (pufferfish) to the sweet treats (kakigori), you truly cannot go wrong when scouting out Osaka foods to try. Whether you are on the hunt for street food, are seeking a Michelin-recognized restaurant, or want to learn how to make Osaka foods yourself when traveling, I highly suggest putting Osaka on your next Japan itinerary (your taste buds will thank you).

The 9 Best Hotels in Costa Rica
In August of 2024, I had the amazing opportunity to join Fora on a FAM trip to Costa Rica. During my visit, I toured some incredible hotels, swam in crystal-clear waters, sipped fresh coconut water straight from the source, and practiced yoga with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. This was my third time visiting Costa Rica, and every time I return, I’m swept up in the same pura vida energy that makes this place so special. Costa Rica is a destination that truly has something for everyone—whether you’re an adventurer or simply looking to unwind. It's no surprise that it was named Travel + Leisure's Destination of the Year for 2024. Check out some of my favorite spots below, and let's start planning your unforgettable trip to this beautiful country!
