My Story
My travel story is narrated by Anthony Bourdain and led by fearless 1900s solo female explorer and writer Freya Stark. I believe that travel educates and expands us incomparably, and that by connecting over food and drink we can change the world.
My Travel Style
Adrienne vibes a long-time love of creating sensory travel experiences for her clients. For more than 20 years, she has contributed her palate to tasting and judging the finest cacao and chocolate around the globe, and is recognized as an expert international taster. We eat and smell things every day that we take for granted, so she adds exceptional sparkle to trips that go beyond the everyday top 10 restaurant list. Her brand "Flavor Curious Travel" designs food-forward itineraries for individuals and hospitality businesses to connect the people, culture, history, and art of ingredients, foods, and beverages.

A Food & Art Sunday in Houston's Montrose District
As a teenager cruising the "S" along Westheimer Road in Houston's Montrose in the 80s, it was the dance clubs and alternative scene that drew us here from our suburban homes. This long-time LGBTQ+ community of Midtown still holds its same sway, now complemented with fine dining, crafty bars, and stellar hotels. Just a hop from the Museum District, spending a lazy Sunday here is what I call a perfect day.

24 Hours in the Vortex of Yum: 3 Michelin-Ranked Spots on a 12-Minute Walk in East Austin
The Holly neighborhood in East Central Austin is where I've called home since 2011. It wasn't a hot spot back then, actually the opposite, with lots of churches, small houses on small lots, and run-down businesses. But from growing up in a restaurant family, I knew that if you follow where people are doing creative things with food, investing their heart and soul in flavor, people are bound to catch on. They have.
