What part of Nashville is best to stay in?

Ultimately, this depends on your budget and preferences. Many of the best hotels in Nashville, TN are found near Broadway in either Downtown or Music Row (which is technically just outside of Downtown).

Both areas are super fun, but Downtown is generally where to stay in Nashville if you want uninterrupted access to the city’s best nightlife. On the other hand, Music Row offers a (mostly) quieter environment outside of its many venues. Traveling between the two areas isn't too difficult by car — it's a 30-minute walk across multiple major intersections — but parking can be costly (Uber / Lyft tend to be more convenient).

There are also options further away from Downtown (connect with us for details), but again, the best hotels in Nashville are typically found in the aforementioned areas.

1. The Hermitage Hotel Nashville: old-school luxury in the heart of Downtown Nashville

Historic and oh-so-opulent, The Hermitage is a celebrated local favorite. For over 100 years, the Beaux Arts-themed hotel has served discerning Nashville visitors with class. And that history has bearings outside the city, too: in 1920, The Hermitage played a small role in Tennessee’s War of the Roses, where pro- and anti-suffragists both stayed while debating ratification of the 19th Amendment which protected women’s right to vote at the nearby State Capitol. (Spoiler: the pro-suffragists rightfully won.)

Today, the hotel greets guests with cozy yet elegant amenities and accommodations just a few blocks from Broadway, making The Hermitage a ritzy and convenient choice located near many of the best things to do in Nashville

Fora Perks at The Hermitage Hotel:

  • $100 hotel / resort credit.

  • Breakfast daily.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

2. The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville: a luxurious & artful hotel in Nashville’s SoBro neighborhood

Only a couple blocks from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in the SoBro neighborhood, The Joseph puts Nashville’s artistic side on full display while riffing on contemporary decor. The result is crisp and stylish but maintains the iconic charm of this fun Southern city.

The Joseph is owned by the Pizzuti family, world-known art collectors, so you can expect to be immersed in rare and unique art here. The hotel is also home to one of the few Michelin star restaurants in Nashville, Yolan, as well as a neat speakeasy that's hidden within the walls.

One of the most unique hotels in Nashville, TN, Noelle’s vibe fits somewhere between chic contemporary and vintage Southern. If that sounds a bit like a paradox, don’t worry: it really works here. The hotel’s design is exceptionally bold, but comfy and sophisticated, too. To put it simply, the hotel has a very interesting look.

As for the accommodations themselves, expect spacious rooms, lovely service and lavish amenities. Location-wise, Noelle is actually near The Hermitage, a couple blocks closer to Broadway.
