Curator’s statement

Hong Kong reigns supreme as Asia’s essential shopping, dining and style destination. Beautiful skyline, exquisite food, the perfect mix of east and west. It's a place where skyscrapers jostle for space with temples, markets overflow with goods, and the nightlife is always buzzing.

Things to do in Hong Kong

Victoria Peak is a hill on the western half of Hong Kong Island.

Hike to The Peak - Start your hike from anywhere in Central and walk towards Old Peak Road, which takes you to the beginning of the Victoria Peak hiking trail (on Lugard Road).

Take the Star Ferry - Take the ferry from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui to see Avenue of the Stars or for an afternoon tea at The Peninsula.

Big Buddha on Lantau Island - Seated on a lotus flower and with a raised hand delivering a blessing to visitors, the Buddha welcomes visitors to climb the 268-step base to share some expansive mountain and sea views. Have a walk through the grounds of Po Lin Monastery, which includes the Grand Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas.

Places to eat & drink in Hong Kong
