Celebrity Silhouette is unlike any other cruise ship I have experienced. It is like a boutique hotel at sea. The ship recently underwent a major refurbishment and it shows. The ship is modern and stylish, yet thoughtfully designed. From the staterooms to the lounges, the spaces are both functional and beautiful.
The Lawn Club was a real standout to me. This unique space has real grass where you're encouraged to kick off your heels, grab a drink, and hang out in the sun. It’s such a fun and unique space. If you’re a foodie, you will not be disappointed with 24 dining options to choose from. A couple of my favorites were Café al Bacio, a cozy European-like café, and Murano, a French fine-dining specialty restaurant. If you're looking to treat yourself, The Retreat is 100 percent worth it. The all-suite experience includes exclusive access to a private restaurant and a dedicated sun deck reserved just for suite guests.
The Lawn Club
Silhouette is a great for couples, friends traveling together, and generational families. There’s plenty to do for all ages, but the overall vibe feels sophisticated and fun without feeling stuffy or overly formal. Celebrity Silhouette is stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that make cruising feel effortless. This is one cruise ship that is just as enjoyable as the ports of call.
Need to know
For tri-state area residents, Celebrity Silhouette has several sailings from the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey. It is by far one of the most convenient and efficient cruise terminals.
