Terra Dominicata - Hotel & Winery: Wedding Location Report
Curator’s statement

Finding the perfect location for your wedding that ticks all the boxes can feel next to impossible. Especially when trying to find a property that allows you to host all your guests on site, have amazing food and wine, and hit that exact note of wedding chic. Dominicata is an old winery turned into a boutique hotel. With 26 rooms on-site, it gives you the opportunity to have all your friends and family stay and enjoy the property. Their food is delightful and they work extremely well with dietary restrictions (always a plus.) Staying at Dominicata feels like you’ve woken up in some dreamy far away vineyard—with an onsite spa, sauna, yoga, and pool, it’s also the perfect property for your wellness enthusiasts.

Where to stay in Spain

There’s really no need to leave Hotel Dominicata. You have everything you could want and need right on the property. Arrive and enjoy a beautiful lunch outside on the terrace overlooking the rolling hills. Make sure you try their wine, made right on site. After lunch, you can take a tour of the vineyard to learn about their history and enjoy a formal tasting.

If wellness is more your speed, then they’ve got you. Enjoy morning yoga overlooking the vineyards, followed by a luxurious onsite massage by their ever-talented massage therapist. A quick sauna post-massage followed by a swim sums up the perfect wellness experience. If Pilates is more your pace, they also have on-site classes.

Need to know

Terra is a 1.5–2 hour drive from Barcelona, so a pro tip if your flying in from the U.S. is to stay one night in Barcelona before driving out the following morning!
