A Luxurious Stay at the St. Regis Rome, Site Inspection
Curator’s statement

In March of 2023, I did a site inspection while staying at the St. Regis Rome. Their amazing staff made sure my husband, son and I felt very welcome during our two-night stay! The butler treated our son to gifts and we enjoyed a lovely bottle of champagne! The Lumen Bar as stunning location for pre-dinner drinks and breakfast. We also loved their 100 year old elevator for trips to our room and the spa! This will always be our go-to hotel when we are in Rome!

The St. Regis Rome is the perfect home base to start your Italian vacation! Whether you are on a honeymoon or a family vacation, the St. Regis delivers with impeccable style. We love this location because it is a short walk or cab away from Roma Termini train station. After a long overnight flight into Rome, there is nothing better than arriving at the St. Regis and taking a nap to refresh yourself. Their beds are hands down the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. We enjoyed staying in the St. Regis suite, which gave us extra space since we were traveling with our six year old.

The Lumen Bar, filled with eclectic artwork, lush furniture and luminious chandeliers was a chic and comfortable location for pre-dinner and post-dinner drinks! Not to miss, the daily Champagne Sabering (a St. Regis tradition) took place nightly at 7 p.m.

The St. Regis Roma is in a fabulous location for dining and sight seeing. It's an easy 20-minute walk to the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain. We enjoyed a celebratory birthday dinner at the nearby La Fata Ignorata (five-minute walk). Also, across the streeet at Bar Pasticceria Tavola Calda Il Grottino di San Bernardo has some of the best pizza and spritzes in Italy!

A variety of food laid out on a table

Each morning we were treated to a magnificent St. Regis breakfast buffet, featuring omelettes, an array of fine meats and cheeses, fruits, pastries and various tea cakes! The St. Regis breakfast simply cannot be matched and is the best way to start your day while in Rome!

Need to Know

This hotel is one of my favorites in the world. It's a sancutary in the middle of bustling Rome, yet close to everything: Roma Termini, The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and world class dining. On a two-week trip to Europe, the best sleep we received was in their glorious beds! We also were wowed each morning with their amazing breakfast buffet.
