Getting to Providenciales is a breeze with a 2.5-hour flight from Atlanta. While the airport is small, opting for Fast Track or SkyPass and arranging a driver in advance (around $75) is highly recommended to expedite customs and ensure a smooth arrival. Upon reaching Wymara, you're greeted by a welcoming, open-air lobby that overlooks the main pool area. This central pool, while smaller and set amidst the three main buildings without ocean views, is a beautifully designed focal point of the resort.

Accommodations & amenities

Wymara boasts 97 keys, including studios, suites, and penthouses, with rooms undergoing renovations every September. A significant plus for discerning travelers are the thoughtful in-room amenities, such as ceiling fans and excellent blackout shades. Many suites feature convenient in-room washer/dryers, and all rooms are equipped with high-quality Aesop toiletries, Dyson hairdryers, lighted magnifying mirrors, steamers, irons, walk-in closets, and spacious bathroom counters. For anything forgotten, the hotel even offers a program to borrow essential items like hair straighteners and iPhone chargers. The property also offers two- and three-bedroom suites, connecting options, and two two- or three-bedroom penthouse suites on the top floor of each building, often featuring kitchenettes or full kitchens.

Dining

The resort offers several excellent dining options. Indigo, located near the lobby, serves breakfast and dinner and features Caribbean fusion flavors with a strong focus on wellness, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Blue Water Bistro (also known as Zest), situated by the water with beach views, offers grilled meats, seafood, ceviche, salads, and wood-fired pizzas. Adjacent to it, the Pink Bar is perfect for beachfront cocktails and light bites, complete with a cozy fire pit. There's an additional restaurant, Land + Sea, near the villas that you have a take a shuttle to, but it has an amazing ambiance and views of the ocean, making for fabulous sunsets.

Beyond the main resort, Wymara offers luxurious villas ranging from one to six bedrooms, accessible via a convenient shuttle service. Villa guests enjoy exclusive access to the Sunset Cove Beach Club, which features a tennis court, bocce ball court, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, a 25-meter lap pool, and an open-air game room with arcade games, billiards, and ping-pong. The main resort also includes a small gym and the world-class Exhale Spa, which is the sole organic-certified spa in Turks and Caicos.

Complimentary amenities for resort guests include property-wide Wi-Fi, on-site parking, a 24-hour fitness center, twice-daily housekeeping, concierge services, and the use of snorkel equipment, kayaks, paddleboards, and Hobie cats. The 7,000-square-foot infinity pool is a central feature, with floating island pods available for rent, including a bottle of rosé and unlimited water.

The check-in process was a friendly and welcoming experience that set a positive tone for the entire stay. Wymara is also a member of Leading Hotels of the World, further testament to its commitment to luxury and service. The hotel is noted for its contemporary architectural style, a departure from traditional Caribbean designs, and its location on a low-density, wide stretch of Grace Bay Beach.

Overall, Wymara Hotel offers a sophisticated and well-appointed experience with excellent service, ideal for those seeking a luxurious and serene getaway on one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
