My husband and I visited Wildflower Farms in September 2023 for our anniversary and brought along our beloved pup, Zoey. Despite the rainy weather, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the property.

Accommodations & service
From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, the service at Wildflower Farms is warm and attentive, and no detail is left untouched. As you enter the property, you're welcomed by the gigantic fire-pit and covered overhang—perfect for relaxing or people-watching no matter the time of year or weather. Our free-standing cabin, set among the welcoming woodlands, was spacious, cozy, and well-appointed. The welcome amenities were extremely thoughtful—they ensured Zoey had her own bed, water bowl, and toys, and I was taken care of with a pregnancy pillow!

Property & amenities
We started the morning at the gym. The yoga studio wasn't being used, so I was able to use it and enjoy the stunning view while I exercised. Despite the weather, we enjoyed several walks around the property with our dog and visited the farm/garden. We finished the afternoon with a spa service, which was rejuvenating and luxurious—one of the best massages I've ever had.

Dining
We ate all of our meals at the on-site restaurant, Clay. The ambiance is inviting and feels like an up-scale lodge. The farm-to-table cuisine was delicious, albeit pricey. If you're inclined, you can visit the onsite farm in the morning to choose your eggs for breakfast!

Need to know
Overall, Wildflower Farms is worth the visit for a luxurious five-star escape less than two hours from NYC.
