Curator’s statement
Waldorf Astoria Pedregal Los Cabos will always be one of my favorite hotels. You can’t beat a hotel that serves chips, guac, beer, and tequila as part of their turndown service. Plus, a private plunge pool doesn’t hurt either. Anytime I’m in Cabo, I make sure to at least stop by one of their restaurants, even if I’m not staying there.

The rooms are pure luxury—each room and suite offers fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean and private plunge pools. They have standard rooms that are anything but standard, suites, beachfront, villas, and private homes. Amenities include free-standing tubs and open showers, cozy fireplaces and private plunge pools.

Not only does every single room on the property feature a private pool, the hotel offers an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar, a family-friendly beach club area with a kid’s friendly pool, jacuzzi, and shallow wading pool, plus a spa-guests only lagoon style pool. Spend the days out in the sun, ordering food and drinks right to your spot. There’s no bad seat to spend the day.

Top three best hotel spas I’ve ever been to. The decor, the vibe, the services, and amenities were all top-notch. Choose from signature treatments, Mexican folk healing and wellness therapies, facial treatments, advanced skin care, massages, and soak rituals. After your treatment, take a dip in the private saltwater grotto lagoon pool for spa guests only. Spend as much time as you want here and order lunch right to your chair.

El Farallon: Known as one of the best restaurants in Cabo, you need to make a res at this cliffside restaurant. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, El Farallon features a fresh, ever changing ocean-to-table menu with daily fish caught by local fishermen.
The Champagne Terrace: Before or after dinner, try a glass of more than 15 different champagnes at the terrace within El Farallon.
Don Manuel’s: The hotel’s signature Mexican restaurant and bar features live music just steps away from the ocean. Also has an extensive wine cellar.
Crudo: At the center of the pool bar, swim up to enjoy oceanside sushi, grab a high-top table, or order straight from your beach chair.
Agave Study at Peacock Alley: The ultimate tequila and mezcal tasting experience with panoramic views of the ocean.
The Beach Club: Chill oceanside lunchtime dining with views of the surrounding mountains and ocean.

Need to know
The hotel is in a prime location—offering both a peaceful, luxurious escape but also within walking distance to all the great shops, bars, and restaurants. There is a golf cart service that will drive you from the hotel through the private tunnel, bringing you within walking distance of the marina and downtown area.
