Must-Visit Hotel: Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa
Curator’s statement

Welcome to Corazón Cabo! With a prime location in downtown Cabo San Lucas, there are endless options for activities, beach bars, shopping, and eateries just outside the hotel doors. They also have an awesome rooftop bar, Rooftop 360, which is where I met my husband. Even if you’re not staying at this hotel, you have to check out the roof during your trip.

Location, location, location

The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas. Situated on the shores of the city’s only swimmable area, Medano Beach, guests have access to private yacht charters, golf courses, fishing, fun nightlife, delicious restaurants, and shopping.

Rooms and suites

There are 305 guest rooms and suites across three towers, all featuring unbeatable views and stylish furnishings. We stayed in the newest building, Corazón Tower, in an Infinity King Suite that featured expansive floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that opened to a private balcony.

If you want to splurge, book an oversized luxury suite at the Medano Tower that boasts amenities like large patios, full kitchens, spacious living rooms, plus rooftop terraces with hot tubs and wet bars.

There are multiple mobility/hearing-accessible guest rooms and suite options available.

The pools and pool bars

Rooftop 360 Infinity Pool: Nothing says luxury like basking in the sun on Cabo’s tallest rooftop with a drink in hand. These are definitely the best views in the area.

Pool Grill: The central pool on the lobby level sits overlooking the Sea of Cortez and Lands’ End, with a swim-up bar and full grill.

Wet Bar: Lively, family-friendly pool with a swim-up bar, snacks, and pool games.

Corazón Beach Club: The Corazón Beach Club is the largest beach club in the area and offers adventures on the Sea of Cortez and decadent relaxation on land. Playful, indulgent, and chill, guests can dive into Cabo’s best swimmable beach, lounge on private cabanas, enjoy a full-service bar and restaurant (order the sushi!), and dance to music by the resident DJ.

Bars and restaurants

Rooftop 360: Cabo’s highest rooftop bar features DJs on the weekend and delicious sushi. Order the Kanikama Roll!

Aleta: Fresh-caught and locally harvested dishes right on Medano Beach.

Draque Cocktail Lounge: Lobby cocktail bar offering bites and an expansive menu of specialty cocktails. Daily 2x1 drink specials from 11 am to 6 pm.

Baja Brewing Co.: The only microbrewery in Cabo and Baja California Sur. Situated on the hotel’s rooftop terrace, its beer garden atmosphere offers awesome views of Land’s End.

Sparitual Spa and other amenities

Sparitual Spa: Choose from a full menu of treatments including massage, facials, body wraps, and salon services. Take advantage of the guided hydrotherapy circuit, showers, and vanity area. Use of the sauna, steam, hot tub, and pressure shower is included with any treatment. If you still want to indulge without an appointment, it’s $25 per day and totally worth it.

Gym: 2,500-square-foot fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

Pet-friendly: Pets under 25 lbs are charged a $15 fee per night plus an additional $100 cleaning fee.

Need to know

Accessibility and dietary

The spacious ADA rooms feature total wheelchair accessibility. In addition to lowered peepholes, thermostats, towel and grab bars surrounding the commodes, and closet rods, all accessible rooms include flashing fire alarms for the hearing impaired and accessible commodes, and sinks. There are options for lowered tubs and roll-in showers featuring hand-held shower sprayers with extensions and shower benches.

There is elevator access to all areas of the hotel. There is no chair lift to assist in getting into any of the pools.

Choose from Mobility/Hearing Accessible Infinity Suite or Mobility/Hearing Accessible One-Bedroom Deluxe.

There is a variety of food options within the hotel: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.
