I sailed on the 3-Night Bahamas & Perfect Day Cruise aboard Celebrity Reflection, departing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale and staying in an AquaClass balcony stateroom. The itinerary included Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay, making it a perfect long-weekend option for couples, friends, or families.
We arrived in Fort Lauderdale the day before departure and stayed near the port, which made embarkation morning seamless. Getting to the terminal by Uber was easy, and the check-in process was fast and well-organized. Celebrity staff were present throughout, guiding guests clearly from arrival through boarding, which set a calm and positive tone from the start.
Celebrity Reflection is a 16-deck ship with an intuitive layout that never felt crowded. Public spaces like the Grand Foyer, pool decks, and lounges felt open and relaxed, while entertainment was well-paced throughout the day and evening. The Solarium, an adults-only indoor pool area, was especially appealing during sea days for quieter relaxation.

Our AquaClass stateroom was located toward the forward section of the ship near the spa, an area that felt noticeably calm. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a private balcony, sitting area, and ample storage. Beyond the room itself, AquaClass significantly enhanced the experience through priority spa access, wellness-focused amenities, and exclusive dining.

Dining was a highlight throughout the cruise, especially at Blu, the AquaClass-exclusive restaurant. The atmosphere at Blu is serene and refined, with attentive but unpretentious service. Menus focus on lighter, well-balanced dishes that still feel indulgent. Breakfasts were especially enjoyable thanks to the quieter setting compared to the main dining room.
Café al Bacio quickly became a favorite stop for specialty coffees, espresso drinks, and casual breaks throughout the day. In the evenings, bars and lounges across the ship offered a relaxed social scene. With the premium beverage package, enjoying cocktails felt effortless—standout favorites included a refreshing St-Germain Spritz and a chocolate martini after dinner at Blu.

At Perfect Day at CocoCay, we spent our time at Hideaway Beach, the adults-only section of the island. With DJs, beachfront bars, casual dining, and comfortable lounge areas, it offered a lively but controlled atmosphere that felt more like a beach club than a cruise stop. Service was excellent, and the experience felt well-managed and easy to enjoy.

Perfect Day at CocoCay
Entertainment onboard was consistently strong, with live music, shows, and casual daytime activities. A special mention goes to Luigi, the Cruise Director, whose energy and professionalism stood out. He brought personality and warmth to the experience without being intrusive—easily one of the best cruise directors I’ve experienced with Celebrity.

Need to know
For this sailing, I highly recommend booking AquaClass. In addition to exclusive dining at Blu, AquaClass includes meaningful wellness-focused benefits such as unlimited access to the adults-only Sea Thermal Suite, priority spa reservations, a dedicated spa concierge, complimentary fitness classes (varies by sailing), and enhanced in-room amenities. These details create a noticeably calmer and more restorative onboard rhythm without stepping into full-suite pricing.
This cruise works especially well for couples, friends traveling together, and families, thanks to the variety of onboard spaces and activities, as well as the flexibility of CocoCay. It’s an excellent option for travelers looking for a refined, low-friction cruise experience over a short timeframe.
