Curator’s statement
Paris holds a special place in my heart—it’s a quick nonstop flight from Boston, making it incredibly accessible for my clients. But what keeps me returning season after season is the blend of food culture, wine, world-class shopping, and those magical hours spent simply wandering through the city’s timeless streets.

My Paris essentials
Every trip includes my tried-and-true favorites: a leisurely Seine river cruise at sunset, strolling through the Tuileries and Luxembourg Gardens, shopping the boutiques of Saint-Germain, lingering at corner cafés with a good book, exploring Montmartre’s culinary scene on a food tour, and venturing into the mysterious Catacombs. These experiences never get old.

Kimpton St Honore
From the moment I arrived on a red-eye flight, the Kimpton St Honoré team set the tone for exceptional hospitality. Despite the early hour, I was warmly greeted with news of a suite upgrade. Since my room wasn’t quite ready, they thoughtfully provided a standard room to shower and freshen up—a small gesture that made all the difference after an overnight flight.

The spa experience
The spa is a true highlight, featuring luxurious Codage products that elevated the entire experience. Perfect for jet lag recovery or simply unwinding after exploring the city.

Montecito Restaurant
The hotel’s restaurant, Montecito, exceeded expectations. I enjoyed a beautifully executed seasonal pumpkin gnocchi that showcased their commitment to fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The breakfast service was equally impressive—a great way to start Parisian mornings.

Perfect for families & pets
True to Kimpton’s welcoming ethos, St Honoré is both family-friendly and pet-friendly. No pet fees, no size limits—your four-legged family members are genuinely welcomed.
Families will appreciate the thoughtful amenities and central location that makes navigating Paris with children effortless.
The location
What truly sets this property apart is its prime Right Bank address. Steps from the Opéra Garnier and Place Vendôme, you’re in the heart of Paris’s most elegant arrondissement. The Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, high-end shopping along Rue Saint-Honoré, and the city’s most iconic landmarks are all within easy reach.
For clients who want that quintessential Parisian luxury experience with unbeatable walkability, this is the perfect base.

Bottom line
Kimpton St Honoré delivers that signature Kimpton service style in one of Paris’s most coveted locations—ideal for first-timers, Paris veterans, families, and pet parents alike.

Need to know
Transportation
Paris is easily accessible with nonstop flights from Boston and other major US cities. Once you arrive, the city is incredibly walkable, especially from Kimpton St Honoré’s central location.
The metro is efficient and user-friendly, but I often find myself choosing to walk—it’s the best way to stumble upon hidden gems.
When to visit
Paris truly shines year-round. Spring brings blooming gardens, summer offers long daylight hours and outdoor dining, fall delivers crisp air and fewer crowds, and winter transforms the city into a magical wonderland (plus, holiday markets!).
Each season has its own charm.
Practical tips
Book popular attractions like the Louvre and Eiffel Tower in advance to skip long lines.
Most cafés and restaurants welcome leisurely dining—embrace the slower pace.
Many shops close on Sundays, so plan your shopping accordingly.
A Seine river cruise at sunset is worth every penny for the views and perspective.
Don’t skip the neighborhoods—Montmartre, Saint-Germain, and Le Marais each have distinct personalities worth exploring.
Insider recommendations
Consider a guided food tour in Montmartre to discover local favorites beyond the tourist traps.
The Catacombs offer a fascinating (if slightly eerie) glimpse into Paris’ history.
