Curator’s statement
Six Senses Yao Noi feels like stepping into a real life "White Lotus" episode, just without the drama. Tucked between Phuket and Krabi, this dreamy island escape offers front-row views of Phang Nga Bay’s limestone cliffs and a deep sense of calm. We ended our honeymoon here, and after weeks of sightseeing and exploring, it was exactly the kind of place we needed. The villas are nestled into the jungle with open air living spaces, private pools, and views that stop you in your tracks. It is the kind of place that slows you down and leaves you in awe.

The journey to Six Senses Yao Noi is part of the magic. After landing in Phuket, you’re driven to the marina and then taken by speedboat across the Andaman Sea. The arrival feels cinematic. The resort is nestled in the jungle with just 56 villas, each designed like a luxurious treehouse with total privacy and private pools that overlook either lush gardens or the bay.

This was the final stop of our honeymoon, and after weeks of sightseeing and exploring, it was finally time to relax. We spent our days moving slowly, lounging by the pool, biking around the island, and soaking in the quiet. What made it even more special was the service. Our GEM, or Guest Experience Manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything felt seamless. She checked in with us each morning at breakfast to go over our daily plans and ask if we needed anything else. From getting us off waitlists to helping us adjust our schedule on the fly, she made everything feel thoughtful and easy.

Biking around Yao Noi Island
We took a Muay Thai class in the open-air pavilion by the beach and absolutely loved it. It was a fun and energizing way to start the day, even as beginners. We also did the private boat trip to the Phi Phi Islands, which was one of the highlights of our trip. We snorkeled in clear turquoise water, stopped at Monkey Beach, cruised past Maya Bay, and had lunch on a quiet island beach. It was the perfect mix of adventure and total relaxation.

Dining at the resort is a highlight in its own right. Nithan by Chef’s Table offers a refined, rotating tasting menu and chefs who thoughtfully walk you through each course. Breakfast at The Living Room is worth taking your time with. From tropical fruit and smoothie shots to fresh pastries and made-to-order roti, it is one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.

Daily breakfast
Six Senses Yao Noi is ideal for couples or anyone looking to unplug in style. It is peaceful, thoughtful, and beautifully designed without ever feeling over the top. Booking through Fora includes added perks like daily breakfast, resort credit, and upgrade possibilities. If you are dreaming of a nature-filled escape that feels both luxurious and low key, this place is unforgettable.

Need to know
You may want to book your Phi Phi tour, Muay Thai classes, and spa treatments ahead of time. We didn’t, and while everything worked out, it was a bit tricky to schedule once we arrived. For example, our spa treatments were at 7 pm on the day we checked in, which was fine but not our preferred time. We were originally put on waitlists but eventually got off for everything we wanted to do.
