India
If you're craving something different that still feels completely indulgent, India might just be your dream honeymoon. Forget any preconceived ideas you have—this country is vibrant, soulful, and incredibly luxurious. And, it’s probably not on most people’s radar.
The Taj Mahal, an iconic symbol of love, makes for an unforgettable stop. You must stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views from your private balcony. Uruguay

My favorite honeymoon-worthy stays include Villa Bokeh in Antigua and Casa Palopó, a lakeside gem with unforgettable views of Lake Atitlán. Both are stylish Relais & Châteaux properties—so yes, the food will be amazing.
Japan (but make it unexpected)
Japan is incredible—but your honeymoon deserves a version that’s more intimate and far from the crowds. Enter: Guntu, a floating ryokan cruise on the Seto Inland Sea. Think slow travel, luxury design, and total serenity.
