Curator’s statement
We visit Phoenix often, since three of our big kids attend university or work there. And while we love to check out different hotels each time we visit from Colorado, the Omni Tempe at ASU blew our minds — and just might be our go-to moving forward. This hotel's vibe is warm and modern, with a nod to the southwest. Plus, the fantastic amenities and perks are tough to beat at this four-star hotel great for families, potential Sun Devils, girls getaways and golfers.

Omni Tempe at ASU hotel lobby
I had the awesome opportunity to walk through the Omni Tempe over spring break, and then promptly booked it for clients over Easter weekend. They raved about the ideal, safe location, all of the amazing perks, the rooftop pool, a very clean room and excellent service from the staff.

Bar at Omni Tempe
My clients agreed that the beautiful, spacious lobby is modern and welcoming, and they loved the fun, swinging chairs. They reported the deluxe queen rooms were clean, fresh and super comfy. Omni Hotel Tempe rooms offer city or mountain views, and typically feature floor-to-ceiling windows, plush bedding and upscale furnishings.

Rooftop pool
The rooftop pool and bar, called Salt and Gila, was great for relaxing with yummy drinks. And Lucero, a separate rooftop bar and lounge, offers craft cocktails and shareables, with outdoor seating options and lovely fire pits. Don't miss hot breakfast here either!

Lucero for rooftop drinks and small plates
From the Omni Tempe, you can walk to several restaurants, grab snacks at the Whole Foods Market just a couple of blocks away or take a stroll around ASU’s campus. You're also just minutes away from the Phoenix airport, the Desert Botanical Gardens, Scottsdale and several dreamy golf courses. Plus, you are 20 minutes from midtown or downtown Phoenix, and just 25 minutes from the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, a fun place to hike, especially when the desert is in bloom in spring.
