Beaches Turks & Caicos has been a special place for my family for over 14 years. We've been vacationing here—sometimes twice a year—since our youngest was just one year old. Now our oldest is 25 and our youngest is 15, and it's incredible to look back on all the memories we've created here.

For us, Beaches has always been the perfect family vacation because everyone could truly relax and enjoy themselves. Our youngest loved the kids’ camp, while our oldest took full advantage of the activities designed for tweens and teens as she grew up. From the 45,000-square-foot Pirates Island Waterpark with thrilling slides and a lazy river to Xbox Play Lounges, Sesame Street characters, scavenger hunts, beach games, talent shows, and age-specific clubs for babies, kids, tweens, and teens, there is always something exciting happening. As parents, we loved knowing our kids were making lifelong memories while we had time to relax, whether by the pool, on the beach, or at the spa.

The new Treasure Beach Village is absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to see how the rest of the resort evolves over the coming years. One of my favorite additions is the new kids' theater, complete with drinks, candy, popcorn, and cozy blankets for movie nights. The new pools and restaurants are wonderful additions, and the accommodations are stunning—especially the two-story suites, which are perfect for larger families.

Returning to a destination that holds so many cherished family memories while experiencing all of the exciting new enhancements made this visit even more special. Beaches Turks & Caicos continues to be one of my favorite family destinations because it truly offers something for every age—from toddlers to teenagers to parents—making it easy to create unforgettable memories together.

A few tips for families: Make restaurant reservations as soon as you arrive for the restaurants that require them, pack plenty of reef-safe sunscreen and reusable water bottles, and take advantage of the kids' camp even if it's just for a few hours each day. If your kids are old enough, don't miss the water sports, snorkeling, and scuba opportunities—they're some of the best experiences the resort has to offer. And be sure to catch the evening entertainment, from beach parties and live shows to the Sesame Street parade and themed family nights.
