Curator’s statement
The Ben sits in the best part of “Palm Beach West” right on the waterfront with dreamy views of mega-yachts and the island across the Intracoastal. It’s a trendy hotel with a clever literary twist where books, storytelling, and little nodes to history show up in unexpected ways. Dog and family-friendly, and deeply plugged into local events like the holiday pop-up. Feels like a neighborhood hub as much as a stylish place to stay.

The Ben is one of my favorite properties in downtown West Palm Beach because it truly captures the essence of the city: modern, waterfront, and effortlessly stylish. During my site visit, I immediately noticed how warm and attentive the staff is. The kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than a reservation number. The design is inspired by the city’s history, blending coastal textures with sleek lines, and the result is a space that feels elevated without ever being pretentious.

Winter Wonderland pop-up
The rooms are spacious and bright, with many offering panoramic views of the Intracoastal. I especially loved the thoughtful layout—plenty of natural light, comfortable beds, and modern bathrooms stocked with quality amenities. The Ben delivers. If you’re planning a longer stay, I highly recommend choosing a room with a balcony for your morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset.

Guest Room
The rooftop pool is a highlight and easily one of the best in the area. With sweeping views, comfortable loungers, and a vibrant-yet-relaxed atmosphere, it’s the place you’ll want to spend a sunny afternoon. The poolside bar and restaurant, Spruzzo, offers great cocktails and elevated bites, making it perfect for both leisure travelers and business guests looking to unwind after meetings.

Learn the story of The Ben—call the Book Butler for a novel on a silver platter, or come to a weekend tea party to meet a featured author.
Location is another major advantage. You’re steps from The Square, the Clematis district, the marina, and some of the best dining options in the city. Whether you’re craving a laid-back brunch, a chic dinner, or a quick coffee before exploring, everything is walkable or take one of their bicycles out for a spin. This makes The Ben ideal for couples, solo travelers, and families who want convenience without sacrificing style. Overall, it’s a property I recommend confidently and often. It hits the sweet spot between boutique charm and a full-service hotel experience.
