A Weekend Getaway to Malta
Curator’s statement

When I was a university student, I had a friend who used to work at this hotel in Malta during the summer holidays. He recommended this hotel to me when I mentioned I wanted to explore Malta, a very touristic island, especially during the summer.

Mdina the silent city - Sandrine Ngwinondebe

The hotel is located in St. Julian's Bay, in the city center, close to various restaurants, bars and beautiful beaches. If you enjoy nightlife, this is the perfect place to stay. Additionally, St. Julian's Bay is just a 15-minute drive from Valletta, the capital city of Malta, making it convenient to get to the airport. I highly recommend literally everything including local food and Italian restaurant located in 300 meters from the hotel IKYK .

I recommend Cafe del Mar, Malta to my clients looking for a place to sit by the pool and have some fun/ weekend pool parties. I would recommend to book before the actual date, especially during the summer as the place tends to get crowded. Take a day tour to visit the famous blue lagoon island with beautiful blue water and get to explore different islands of Malta by boat. Take a road trip to the capital city and explore beautiful streets and visit the National Museum of Archaeology. There are a lot of things to explore in Malta, but you can’t obviously leave this country without visiting Mdina city known as the silent city. This city was the capital city of Malta before Valletta and is commonly known as a filming location for Game of Thrones.
