Oceans Edge Resort & Marina, Key West

I recommend Oceans Edge Resort & Marina for the traveler seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle while still having the opportunity to pop into the thick of it for an evening or two to experience the liveliness of Old Town. Oceans Edge boasts a full-service marina, making it suitable for guests who want to explore the waters around Key West. This includes boat slips, charter services, and water sports activities. They offer complimentary shuttles to/from Old Town, bike rentals, kayak and paddle board rentals, poolside games, yoga classes and more. Not to mention, there are some great perks that can be added through our partnership programs to make your stay extra special.

Parrot Key Hotel & Villas

An island paradise that doesn’t even feel like you are in Florida, Parrot Key Hotel & Villas is a waterfront property with a great location. It is close to Duval Street and other popular attractions, while giving the sense of exclusivity and privacy. Step out of your traditional hotel room or villa-style accommodation to the multiple pools surrounded by palm trees and immediately feel a sense of relaxation. A key feature is the lagoon-style pool and the poolside cafe. They also provide complimentary shuttles to Old Town, so you can immerse yourself in the culture, dining, and beach bars and return to your island oasis after a day of fun.

The Marker Key West Harbor Resort

Location, location, location. The Marker Key West Harbor Resort is one of the best places to stay in Key West because it is situated in the Historic Seaport area just minutes from Old Town while offering high-end services and amenities and exceptional accommodations. Experience the luxury of this upscale, family-friendly resort with so many great offerings on property as well as right outside your door. The Historic Seaport area offers a mix of historic charm and modern amenities. You can enjoy waterfront dining, shopping, and various water activities. It's also close to attractions like the Key West Aquarium, Mallory Square, and the Key West Shipwreck Treasure Museum.

And Beyond....

Isla Bella Beach Resort - Marathon, FL

I personally think Isla Bella Beach Resort is one of the best places to stay in the Florida Keys. An hour drive from Key West airport to Marathon, this family-friendly oceanfront hotel offers lots of activities for kids, families, and adults. Featuring multiple pools, a fitness center, spa, marketplace, event spaces, and on-property activities like kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing excursions, there is something for everyone. There are also bike rentals available to explore the bars and restaurants of Marathon or to take across the Seven Mile Bridge. When I was there in January 2023 with my family, we spotted multiple manta rays from the bridge!

Little Palm Island Resort & Spa - Little Torch Key, FL

This adults-only luxury resort is truly a unique and special place in the Florida Keys. More of a splurge than the other properties, Little Palm Island is the perfect setting for a special occasion like a honeymoon, anniversary trip, babymoon, or romantic birthday getaway. You get the sense of remoteness and tranquility beginning on your journey to the resort, as it is only accessible by boat or seaplane. Some key features of this true island getaway experience are the thatch-roof bungalow-style suites, exceptional dining experience, and indulgent spa services.

Need to Know

When choosing places to stay in Key West, consider your budget, preferred activities, and the type of atmosphere you want to experience. Key West offers a range of accommodation options, including luxury resorts, boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, and vacation rentals, so you're sure to find something that suits your needs and preferences. Old Town is known for its charm, colorful buildings, and lively nightlife with lots to see and do. If you are interested in history and culture, there is so much at your fingertips in Key West. Be sure to visit Ernest Hemingway's Home and Museum if you are interested in his literature and history or the Southernmost Point for a photo op.
