The Global Ambassador Hotel: Your One-Stop Shop for a Luxe Getaway in Phoenix
Curator’s statement

Welcome to 12-time James Beard Award nominee Sam Fox’s first hotel project, The Global Ambassador Hotel. This ultra-luxurious property hit the Phoenix, AZ scene in December 2023 and it’s been buzzing ever since. From the intimate lobby bar to the lively rooftop, théa, this will be your new favorite hot spot in Phoenix. With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Sam Fox is a household name in Arizona. My personal favorites are Olive & Ivy, The Henry, North Italia, and of course, The Global Ambassador Hotel.

Where to stay

The rooms

Step inside beautiful guest rooms filled with character, elegance, and stylish decor. Every corner of the room was thoughtfully designed, from the open-air patios to the bathrooms to the in-room bar (this is not your average mini bar—this thing is stocked!). Each room features oak hardwood flooring, luxurious fabric wall coverings, beds decked out in Matouk linens, Byredo amenities (amazing), a Dyson Supersonic (finally, a hotel with a legit hairdryer!), handmade leather accents by Billykirk, and curated reading materials by Maison Paige. There are accessible rooms that feature roll-in showers as well as additional amenities. Rooms are pet-friendly!

Lobby bar

Work by day and indulge in handcrafted cocktails by night. This plush and inviting space feels like a giant living room yet is still intimate. Enjoy a lively scene with jazz trios and artist-in-residence/DJ nights every weekend. Pro Tip: order the Adult Happy Meal, featuring your choice of a Vodka or Gin Martini with Truffle Frites.

Pink Dolphin & the pool

Think Mexican and Peruvian-inspired dishes and drinks poolside. The vibrant setting feels like a movie set and is the ideal place to spend an afternoon. The indoor restaurant and covered poolside terrace are always buzzing.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Access to the pool and cabana reservations are available exclusively for hotel guests and members.

There is a chair lift to assist guests to enter the pool.

Le Âme & Le Market

True to its Parisian roots, Le Âme features a variety of classic French dishes like Steak Frites and French Onion Soup, plus a fresh take on favorites like tuna carpaccio and onion dip with potato chips. We loved the bagel & lox tower! Open breakfast through dinner for hotel guests and visitors.

For grab-and-go, Le Market is the lobby’s French-inspired bakery and bistro. It’s perfect for breakfast or lunch and we love that it turns into a bar at night.

théa

With beautiful mountain views and lively DJ energy, the Mediterranean restaurant théa is the best rooftop party in the area. The menu features an array of Mediterranean mezze, pasta, and coastal seafood in dips, on flatbreads, or simply marinated skewers, all designed to be shared. Sunset cocktails here are a must!

Health & wellness

This is hands down the most jaw-dropping wellness experience. Walk into 19,000 square feet of pure workout heaven featuring a spin studio, exclusive Forma Pilates classes, state-of-the-art equipment from Technogym, Peloton, and Eleiko, and a variety of fitness classes.

The spa is equally impressive. Take advantage of the steam room, cold plunge, jacuzzi, and showers before or after your treatment. Indulge in everything from refreshing facials to therapeutic massages and therapy regimens.

Accessibility & dietary

The entire hotel is wheelchair accessible with smooth floors, wide hallways and doorways, oversized bathrooms, and elevator access throughout the property. For every room type, there is an ADA-compliant version, seven in total. Some features include roll-in showers, lower bed frames and vanities, and safety bars in bathrooms.

Dishes across all menus can be made vegan or vegetarian and feature gluten-free and kosher options.
