Anthony’s Key Resort is a unique property in that half of the rooms are on Anthony’s Key island apart from the rest of the rooms on the main island (where the restaurants are located). There is a 24/7 water taxi which shuttles guests between the main island, Anthony’s Key, and Bailey’s Key, which offers one of two on site snorkel areas and dolphin encounters. The resort is beautiful and truly feels like paradise.

Bailey’s Key
Anthony’s Key houses a scuba diving school, scuba diving packages, or pay-as-you-go dives ranging from a refresher course (which I did) and beginner dives all the way up to advanced dives and night dives and night snorkel options. The water is warm and the reef is beautiful! Truly no better place to learn or refresh your skills. The resort offers gear rental with storage lockers if you choose to do multiple dives.

Hillside rooms on main island
Ixora Spa was wonderful. I treated myself to a Swedish massage and a pedicure. Both were very reasonable and relaxing. For divers and non-divers, there is a beautiful swimming pool next to the spa on Anthony’s Key. They also offer weekly yoga classes.
The resort has both a fancier restaurant, Ankor Seafood Grill, and a casual lounge and bar, Frangipani. Both offered delicious food and drinks. The resort also has a snack shop and specialty coffee area. You can choose to include your meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) or pay as you go!

Another perk of this resort is the on site dolphin activities. You can swim and snorkel with dolphins, which is incredible and a great option for kids. The resort offers links to sign up for island tours, horseback rides, etc with pickup from the resort. For snorkelers, on-site there are two on site areas for free (Bailey’s Key and Front Porch Reef) which was extremely convenient.

Need to know
This resort is great for almost everyone, minus those needing accessible accommodations.
I would not bring a stroller to this resort as it would be very difficult to manage with the stairs on the hillside rooms and the water taxi on the key rooms. This resort may be better suited for kids three and up.
