Wentworth Mansion is truly a fabulous, personalized stay. You can feel the care they have for hospitality through the interchanging amenities throughout the day, the kind staff, and the serene rooms. We had the most fabulous Valentine’s Day stay here, and loved getting a taste of the history of Charleston through this historic property.

First impressions
When you arrive at Wentworth Mansion, you will be greeted with champagne and a full property tour. They want this house-turned-hotel to feel like your home for the duration of your stay, and they’ll make you feel right at home.

Stepping into your room, you will find an old-fashioned space with modern amenities. The bathrooms are huge, with large tubs and L’Occitane products. Each room is equipped with its very own fireplace that you can turn on with just the click of a button. Our room also had its own private balcony!

Throughout the hotel, you will find wine and hors d'oeuvres in the evening, pastries in the morning, and other treats throughout the day. There are many living rooms, game rooms, and balconies, and the top floor even has a 360-degree view of Charleston.

This hotel is on the old-fashioned side, and as a modern hotel lover, I was unsure, but our fantastic stay made up for any stylistic worries I had.
