The perfectly curated playlist creates a jazzy, laid-back atmosphere that permeates the lobby. The rooms are tastefully decorated, featuring plush bedding, modern furnishings and thoughtful touches like locally sourced bath products and fresh flowers. The views from the upper floors offer a stunning panorama of Charleston’s historic rooftops and the serene waterfront.

The included breakfast was a delight with a selection of Southern staples such as fresh fruit, grits, biscuits and gravy and freshly baked local pastries. The staff’s genuine hospitality enhances the dining experience, making you feel right at home. Another bonus feature was complimentary bikes available to reserve to explore the city.

I highly recommend The Palmetto Hotel for couples seeking a romantic getaway, history enthusiasts wanting to explore Charleston’s rich heritage and business travelers looking for a touch of luxury during their stay.
