Ocean View Grand Luxury Villa
Nestled between the Pitons—a UNESCO World Heritage Site made up of two iconic volcanic peaks—along St. Lucia's southwest Caribbean coast, this resort offers stunning views nearly everywhere you turn. Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, is spread across 100 acres and located on one of the best beaches on the island. It’s a roughly one-hour drive from the international airport, but guests can also opt for a private boat transfer if they want to avoid the winding mountain roads.

Bonté Restaurant & Bar on Sugar Beach
The resort boasts five main restaurants, a grab-and-go coffee shop and cafe, and the local hot spot Jetty’s Burgers serving up smash burgers and piton views. Their other dining concepts—Bonté, Cane Bar, Saltwood Restaurant, The Terrace Restaurant, and Jalousie Grill—offer a variety of different cuisines for guests to choose from. During our time we enjoyed meals at all besides Jalousie Grill, which was closed for renovations, and truly each meal we had impressed. The food is fresh, flavorful, and highlights local ingredients across different cuisine types. I also loved being able to easily grab an iced latte or matcha from Boopa’s!

Golden hour at Saltwood Restaurant
There is a wide variety of rooms and villas across the property, and we were able to see several of them firsthand through a comprehensive site visit. From modern to traditional Caribbean luxury, from hilltop rooms with sweeping ocean views to true beachfront settings, and from studio rooms to four-bedroom villas, there is something for every client. The best part? Every category features a private pool and dedicated butler service for your stay.

Luxury Beachfront Bungalow
The beach—stretched between Petit Piton and Gros Piton for incredible views everywhere you look—is the true star of the show at the resort. The water is calm, turquoise blue, and perfect for families. For those who don’t like to sit still, there is a variety of motorized and non-motorized activities, including jet skis, speedboats, scuba diving, snuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and more. Poolside cabanas are available to reserve for a more relaxed day by the water, and both the beach and pool offer chair-side food and beverage service.
